It would be the best hot toys figure if they ditched the ugly turtle neck by lowering the neck fabric like the protos they initially showed us. Other than that the figure looks great.

I feel in love with this figure when I first got announced, but seeing these updated pictures the love has gone. Not liking the turtle neck as many others have said, but the material swap for the costume and the brighter red just spoil it. The red should be the same colour as the boots and shin guards, not a bright primary red covered in soot smudges. I'm sadden by this downgrade, maybe in hand photos will bring the love back. Hot Toys had all my money last year, thus year they've barely gotten anything off me.

But in the recent "upcoming" photo the lower leg padding looks really close to the color of the rest of the suit.

The suits obviously darker in that shot. Matching the armor better. Thankfully.

You may not need to go back in time. The prototype is still in a vault at Hot Toys. If we can get a crew together we can pull off this heist and take turns having the perfect figure. I promise I won't take out my fellow heist members.

Definitely fine in the neck. I don't see it releasing with any of the problems these recent prototypes are showing. I believe it's like MOTU says - maybe they toyed with the idea of swapping heads, or maybe they were toying with the idea of an unmasked head but had to scrap it for one reason or another, so when they went with swapping eye-pieces, we got the smaller neckline. The one thing I have always noticed at least with my figures from Hot Toys and even SSC, they're ALWAYS even better in-hand. I think that this figure, in-hand, is going to be really amazing. I think that soon we'll see some updated pictures to kind of tease us that Pre-ordered and try to get more people that haven't to pre-order, and we'll have a better idea. And if there are problems, we say so. They're not shy about going back and making fixes based on feedback. Look at Hulkbuster just this last week! They've made all of these changes based on people's feedback, pretty major ones....and I don't think they raised the price either! So have faith!! We're actually getting a 1/6th scale movie version of Deadpool which is something we never thought we'd ever get because we never thought we'd even get the MOVIE in the first place! It's time to panic when they release the pre-production photos and problems exist, not when they're showing a handful of examples that God knows the story behind how they look is. No worries.....yet!

Superman had the old HS in that "backstage" photo and people freaked out until it was released with the new updated HS. So these are not always photos of the final product.

Not 100% sure either but everyone on the superman page thought it was. I think there was torches and pitchforks coming out of my monitor when that picture was released
