His head is larger in this version then the toy soul Proto. Could be many reasons why and this could still just be a Proto and not final so I wouldn't get to worried at this point.

I think it looks pretty good. Definitely gonna need a few modifications out of the box. Fixing the turtle neck shouldn't be too hard IMO, then just lower the head a bit and it's perfect

For me this is an issue. I dont make a lot of money, in fact this was going to be my first Hot Toys. If I spend $230 it needs to at the very least be 90% on point. If I have to make any sort of adjustments or touch up any spots then I would rather just pass on it altogether and wait for a better version. I know some people can buy this and make it look a hundred times better, unfortunately that person is not me and I dont have the funds to risk it.

Even though I dislike the turtle neck it is accurate to the movie...so I don't think they'll change it. :gah: But I still can't wait to get this figure. :wink1:

Yeah...I'm wondering why people are complaining about the turtleneck if it was in the movie....

I think people are complaining because the prototype looked perfect (possibly the best hot toys ever), but at the end of the day these are called movie masterpieces for a reason so the complaining is due to being minorly disappointed with how it turned out

There are two kinds of collectors. The complainers, and the people who complain about the complainer's complaining :lol

I'm really glad I don't mind the turtle neck much. All I care about is some great articulation and that he gets shipped asap. :lol

I think in hand this will look great. When is this due to ship? By the end of July right?

It's just a minor nitpick to me. It looks a little thick but it's not a big deal. This will probably he my next order.
I bet he's gonna look great once we have him and the turtle neck will be forgotten. :)

Agreed. He's going to be fun to pose.
I feel like that's the only thing that could really ruin this figure to me ... imagine ... articulation like with Ant-Man. ;__; Now, that would be something to complain about. I hope they found a way to let us actually use the 30 points of articulation ...
