Yeah that's true. Not like movie Wolverine & Comic Book Wolverine.

They don't do comic versions of anything. They only have the film rights.

Hopefully Deadpool will be the next fig released

Why would you think this? The Hong Kong announced release date range is q2-q3.(which goes all the way to the end of September)..so late summer early fall overseas and then nearly winter for a sideshow release. Long way off. Probably a dozen figures released before this.

Hot toys does not have a comic book figure line

Lets clear this one up

The current Sideshow figure is based on his comic look isn't it?... I know one I much prefer personally (*cough it's the one I've pre-ordered)

Off on a side tangent, I wish Hot Toys would do more Game characters, like Nathan Drake for Uncharted 4. The most expensive I've seen so far is a Neca figure, and even if Sideshow did one, they kicked the pooch pretty badly with their Uncharted 3 figure.

Man, I agree about their game line, it's really lacking. I've been hoping they would get The Last of Us license for a while now. I'd be all over a Joel and Ellie 2 pack.

It's good your not saying your right, because your wrong. Those are anime figures not comic book figures. So, nice try but your still flat wrong.

The name (cm series)is just a shortened translation from cartoon or anime into English. Like the character for the figure storm is from a movie but the toy hot toys produced is from the anime cartoon version of that character.

Given that you brought up comic book line in a marvel thread, mentioned the comic version of deadpool and all I figured you knew that a comic book is different then anime cartoon. My bad for assuming you where that smart. Should have known you where not.

They did Raiden for god's sake... :gah: I can understand Naked Snake (although Solid would seem a more appropriate choice pre prequel era), but Raiden wouldn't have been my first choice in the office coming up with a character idea...

And yep, I'd be all over The Last of Us too.. I have two copies of the Project Triforce statue. (the second was a thank you gift from Sony NZ and NZG)

I wonder if I can get him into a pose like this and sit him on my top shelf... Print out a sixth scale book cover, maybe a Deadpool comic..
