Thanks :duff When do Hot Toys start giving me a cut :lol

Your pics are way better than the over edited stuff they've been using to promote their stuff lately. They give me a better sense of what this guy will look like when I get him.

They should give you a big one. :lol Who knows how many people you've driven into buying this guy ... :lol
At least 4 so far :rotfl

Hey Thanks man :) While I am a fan of some of the photoshopped shots we get on release say I've stayed away from doing a lot of that kind of photography in favor of more realistic stuff. Like my recent Natural Light series:

Mainly for the reason you stated and partly because its easier :lol Now I just mix heavy photoshopped pics into my Instagram feed on occasion

Totally agree with you. The release day blogger photos don't do anything for me other than get me excited at the fact that the figure has released. They're so heavily edited that it doesn't tell me what it'll look like in hand, and in all honesty, don't look anywhere near as good as the type of shots Brainiac takes. I think editing/PS is great when I can barely tell or can't tell at all.

Well to be fair, there was a lot of great looking and realistic shots of this guy, many of which I loved, like these:

Now I'm nowhere near as good as those guys, their work is phenomenal and way better, but I will always take these kind of shots to give a different perspective. I think that's important for people to see, especially when you have to pay a lot for these. More people taking photos and doing reviews will only help the hobby more and the community :)

Those look great. That's what I'm talking about when I'm referring to photos that don't look heavily PS'd. More fresh in my memory are all the Mk6 blogger pics. Almost all of them gave the armor a red-orange appearance. It wasn't until seeing a few "normal" pictures on IG where I could see more depth in the red and gold, and that orange-y tint disappeared.

No disrespect to the skill of those photographers. I can't edit PS to save my life lol. I simply prefer seeing nice pictures of how the figure actually looks in person.

But you're right. The more photos the better! It's my favorite part of this hobby.

This figure is becoming increasingly appealing to me for some reason. I prefer everything about he tech suit including the ability for me to make a Peter Parker figure, and yet this one is creeping up my interest list.

This one is better because you can pose it and leave it posed without fear of ruining the suit.

Added bonus, it's from the best scene in the movie.

Yeah, I never thought I'd say that but I really loved this suit in the movie. The scene where Peter was stuck between the debris really had me impressed. I mean, yeah, the entire 3rd act was great but that scene was very heartfelt. I dunno but I think had it been Toby, it would have been cheesy or a bit awkward but Tom has such an innocence to him that you wanna run there and push the concrete slab up yourself. :lol And that suit kinda resembles that youthful innocence as well imo. It looks like a bad Halloween outfit, something a kid would make to feel like a superhero. But just wearing that doesn't make you a superhero. And while Spidey got his trademark suit, it's not the suit that makes him who he is. Sorry for the wall of text guys. :lol

Anyway, I can't wait to have this guy on my shelf and pose him in crazy poses most of my HT could never even dream of doing. :lol Finally a figure that can crouch low and that I can display in front of other figures! I might just be a hell of a lot more excited for this than for the tech suit.

Boy this is getting harder and harder to resist. Already getting the other one, but now I am tempted to get this one too.

..looks like the two headsculpts of Peter Parker probably could be used on either if you had both.

You guys are killing me. I have the Stark suit Spidey on PO but this easily looks like the more fun/less stressful figure. You could essentially pose it however you want and if it wears a little bit it would only add to the costume's homemade feel.

Alas, my pockets are not endless so I'll have to enjoy this figure vicariously through your guys photos.
