It sure is one of a kind in terms of how bad it is!

Worst Steve Rogers sculpt. EVER!

I have to say i'm honestly very proud of you for convincing yourself not to buy this figure. As much as I wish I could, I just would always feel that one empty spot in my infinity war lineup.

I consider this the low point in Cap scuplts followed by the unmasked A1 IMO but i still own them both. I did switch the head on my golden age and swap the gloves and boots for red versions from the star spangled version for a comic look.

Not to keep going on, but I honestly feel that this head is on par with the rest of the Cap heads they’ve done. I honestly feel like not of them capture Evans. In fact, I think this is the best so far.

I don't know if it's the best, but I definitely agree with you that it is on par with the rest. I don't think any of them have nailed it, the best being the general masked sculpt. It's good but not Yondu good.

Well, it's really not that hard to not buy something when the quality is simply lacking...like I would never buy gift wrap turd so therefore I would never buy this poor excuse of a Cap. That's right internet...I compared this HT Cap to gift wrap turd, deal with it!

Granted I was looking forward to getting this due to how unique it would have been, but then we got what we got...and the rest is history lol.

Yeah I was really liking what I saw based on the videos and pictures but after the tenth time gmoney said how bad he thinks the sculpt is, I decided my eyes couldn’t be trusted and the sculpt is actually bad. Hopefully he keeps going to convince the fools who like how this looks that his opinion is the right one!

Part of what po's me off is having gotten ASMUS' Gimli in hand recently. Height difference etc. But. Great sculpt. What feels like a high quality wig. FIVE diecast axes w. amazing detail. Layers of to-scale cloth costume. Plastic is boots and chain mail only. ASMUS is working to earn its customer base.

Why are there two HT Doctor Strange out BOTH with great sculpts, paint, costume, accessories?

Just feel like HT has been tryin' to up its profit margin. Fine, it's a business, but don't screw the fans just to make a few more dollars e.g. cheating on Cap 'coz you figure he'll sell no matter what. Concept Art Cap is great, but no extra sculpt, and back to plastic shields. Pretty simple release. U would think he would've been xtra-special with some sort of diorama base.

BW never seems to come with a lot, but like one reviewer pointed out she should've come with Proxima's spear too.

Now there's IW Cap w. an IMO KO quality sculpt and a shiny crispy textured uniform - prob 'coz it's quicker and cheaper than trying to make consistent holes to show the scale mail. Or the same stuff for Concept Cap was just dyed and used for IW Cap 'coz that's cheaper production too, buying materials in bulk. Uniform material looks like the stuff you line shirt collars with coated over. For HT IMO this is embarrassing esp. compared to a fig like Rescue Cap or DS - film outfit didn't look TEXTURED; thought it was broken-down CW outfit (except pants are different w. more red inserts, dyed over black).



Maybe HT is tryin' to cut costs re coping w. skyrocketing shipping costs. Just real glad I have my other Caps (even Golden Age had work put into it) and hope this Cap doesn't sell well, so HT will get the message and not screw Bucky up and also - will put their back into the IW2 releases. Even if I have to pay bit more - doin' that anyway.

I think the sculpt is fine. Despite what people think HT rarely knocks a sculpt out of the park. As long as its 85% or so there Im fine with it.

HT knocks head sculpts out of the park more often than not...in fact they were on a pretty solid streak (Hela, Yondu, Doctor Strange, Bucky 3.0, Tom Holland, RDJ, IW Thor, etc.) until this dropped this dud on the market...also let's not forget the precursor to all this: the terrible hair job for the IW BW...it was really an omen if you think about it.

I genuinely think this is the best Captain America hot toys sculpt outside of Age of Ultron. The Winter Soldier sculpt looks good for the film, but Civil War seemed to be a step back:
