Received today. As always pictures doesn't do justice. What a fantastic figure and having the old one, this new headsculpt is miles away better. Pretty happy!

My wife feels the first version looks better when comparing the two, but I agree that the MJF likeness is better with this new one. After giving it some time, I think this may be my favorite of the Marty figures I have, though the glossy, unicolored hair is a bit distracting next to all the other things that are done well with the figure.

I received mine today, just want to share my thoughts.

I don't like the shine on the hair, comes across as cheap looking. Weird decision by HT. The seam on Einstein's neck looks bad and was not needed, also the paint apps are pretty off compared to the real dog. The tailoring on the clothing is really nice, be careful of the buttons when handling though. The sculpt is okay, it definitely could be improved upon.

Besides the hair, I would say overall I'm really happy to have Marty in the collection.

Just got mine today. I had a question for those who have received theirs. Is your top pin upside down like mine is? I want to try to fix it but I don't want to accidentally destroy it.

Same here - but €82 custom and taxes

Just got my DHL invoice for import taxes- add another £60 to an already overly expensive purchase.
Oh the joys of having to use Sideshow for exclusive releases. At least it’ll arrive quickly.

Mine was sideways but it spins without any effort. The guitar was upside down too but I fixed them both no problem.

Honestly like it more than I expected. The hair didn't end up bothering me.

Mark Crawford has his review up too, and even though he's not a fan of the sculpt at all, his pics all make it look quite good.

2.0 Marty sculpt defo looks better then the original fig in the pics from MC's review. Interesting he says that the new sculpt looks better in his pics then in person.

What's funny is besides the hair sculpt his new expression is basically the same one from the BTTF 3 cowboy Marty and you guys didn't even notice it lol

I thought it was pretty obvious that it was the same sculpt. Although having the bangs in front does seem to help the likeness a bit more on the other head.

Would’ve been a four star head sculpt if he’d gotten this figure from Star Ace, lol.

Overall imo a nice figure but the paint on the sculpt is very soft and the hair is to puffy. On mine the hair is almost matte except for a glossier small section in front ( see arrow) I might add some brown highlights to Einstein. I have the original and like it a bit more but again that’s just me.

Are there any discounts for this figure available at Sideshow? Otherwise I’d just use my reward points on it.
