Are there any more noticeable differences in clothing? Or is it just the minor ones like stitching color?

The vest and socks stand out the most. Overall at a glance it’s hard to tell the differences though.

If I had the option to I would totally use the V2 sculpt on the V1 set as V1 has the better accessories.

Yeah I never got the Marty 2.0, in the end I didn't see enough improvement over the original sculpt. If the 2.0 Marty sculpt had been bang on I would of got it.

The fact that the hair, and more likeness and the expression this time can make for many pose instead of one (that's V1 for sure) and his skin isn't tan is major plus. and the costume is more faithful color and all.

Yeah I never got the Marty 2.0, in the end I didn't see enough improvement over the original sculpt. If the 2.0 Marty sculpt had been bang on I would of got it.

I still haven't bought him. And I'm now humming and hawing over whether I'll get the new Delorean at all. Space, space, space.

If in the future after it has long sold out again someone sees me expressing regret about my lack of Delorean they have my permission to do a Will Smith on me.

Finally... So, I like the new clothes. I like the realism of the new head, but I prefer the likeness of the old one.

How're the jacket and pants on the new one? The old one definitely had a nice denim texture to them but in pictures of the new one it doesn't seem as noticeable.

Yeah this is my thoughts, If the V1 had the V2 paint work on the face, then it would be great. Ive got to keep talking up the V1 sculpt anyway, seeing as its my Avatar.

I prefer the V1 as well. Marty spends much of the movie looking bewildered, which the V1 captures quite well. The V2 looks more angry and serious. The paint does look better though.

A smart third party, would be making the yellow radiation suit. If you have both Marty's, it makes sense to give one a new look.

For Marty by himself, I would probably go with the v2. Paired with Doc, I’d go with v1 because I think the sculpt expression matches/pairs better.

The pics shared look great, but eh, clothing wise I’d agree I don’t see a head and shoulders improvement to upgrade if you already have the v1. To me it’s akin to the DX19 and DX12/Armory situation: if you don’t have a Bale Batman already, go for DX19. If you already have DX12 or Armory, no reason to have to panic and get the new one simply because it’s the “new one” when there’s minimal difference.

I seriously hope they re tweak that v1 doc sculpt though, even real hair on it would be so easy.

Wenwu and Pattinson Batman got updated sculpts. Doc is the one that needs a new sculpt.

I highly recommend watching some YouTube videos first before you start. They’re pretty much like model car waterslide decals.

It's a nice figure, just a shame they didn't do a better job with the hair. I have both versions and I can't say I prefer one over the other.

I wonder what's people issue with his hair in V2... in the movie his hair is thick and puffy like and not wavy like the v1..

if you want to go for accuracy, HT have provided inside pocket like the real jacket to put the Aiwa there.

The paint isn't very good. It's one tone brown with no contrast at all and suffers from that metallic like look that plagues quite a few of their figures.

It’s not the shape/style of the hair but rather the soft molding detail of the hair on the production sculpts.
