Einstein is 12cm tall and the whole car is about 25cm in height i think.

I just gave it a try, and he does fit if you sit him at an angle, but the tail and steering wheel get in the way of anything else.

I have the exclusive v1 with the guitar but think I need to pick this up as well to try and get my hands on the Einstein. I wish they sold that separately for those of us who got it back in the day.

Not the end of the world if I display both in my shelf haha

How do you find the two sculpts side by side?

If there are enough differences I don't mind displaying them both at the same time in different poses.


I hope the two BTTF 3 figures and BTTF 1 Doc sell well. I am really keen for them to keep producing more figures. I'd love the two incognitos, not to mention a Biff or Griff!

To me I think they’re both not 100% MJF. The newer sculpt has a slight better resemblance but the 257 has better accessories (sunglasses and guitar). Einstein is cool but looks cheap.

Displaying them together makes the differences stand out:

Haha - John is preparing his next hit is presume. Biff or Griff probably hired him.

I am probably going to pick it up even though I have the OG. I'll very much likely do the same with the assumed re-release of the BTTF 2 Doc and Marty. Can never have too many figures..

I should have grabbed the re-release when I had the chance here in Aus. Was much cheaper than getting it directly from Sideshow.

I wish a 3rd party company would make a Biff, maybe call it Time Traveling Bully? He is a pretty key figure to the trilogy. I can't see HT making him. So a 3rd party figure is the only chance to get a Biff.

Yeah a Biff from each of the movies would be cool to have. Although if I could have only one it would be Mad Dog Tannen, as I think he'd make for the most interesting figure visually.

They do this with figures when they sell out, you can still find the page with a Google search. Who knows when they might get it, they are normally last to receive stock.

I am not sure if this was ever available from Popcultcha, wasn’t it a sideshow exclusive? I know they had the page but I don’t think I ever saw it for pre order. If I did I missed it.

I actually called them about this a few weeks ago when I saw that it disappeared from their website. They said they do that when they dont have anymore preorder allocation to sell, but I doubt that. They said the same thing about Captain Rex, and as soon as it arrives in stock it appears on their website again.

They said that the Marty figure would be arriving in March, but it looks like it did not make the same stock shipment as Captain Rex. But I'll be calling them next week to check what's happening with it.
