I am in the same boat as you. I don’t hate the OG headsculpt at all. I just wish they would have given something different. I do believe we maybe saw that expression happen first from the 1955 Doc when the test Delorean caught on fire.I know the figure is overpriced at $290 and I'm basically buying it for the clothing and accessories, as I hate the headsculpt and will be looking to replace it, but man it makes me happy to have this on order.
Yea, you are right!! Just forgot how open his moth was. But yea, as someone mentioned, he is older here. Hopefully they can make him look older.I'd say the headsculpt matches up pretty nicely with the scenes right when Einstein gets sent to the future

Yea I mentioned that before. But I know of other figures where they reused heads and never updated “holes/slots” for accessories.I mean they couldn't even fill in the holes on the sides of the hair that was used for his BTTF2 version.
I am in the same boat as you. I don’t hate the OG headsculpt at all. I just wish they would have given something different. During the Twin Pines Mall scene, Doc didn’t even make that expression. I am happy to have this version too. So I just hope the new paint apps make a difference.
Dude, it's OK to be wrong......Yea, you are right!! I knew he made the expression. Just forgot how open his moth was. But yea, as someone mentioned, he is older here. Hopefully they can make him look older.
Maybe just darker shading on the existing wrinkles? Not sure. Paint apps are not my skillset!I was wondering if there was a way to at least paint the head to be a little older. It doesn't look much different so far?
A bowl of hot water, Some small scissors, some micro set decal solution and a steady hand.I have the Marty decals from way back, but have been too paranoid to actually apply them. Can anyone give me pointers?
Plenty of Youtube videos on how to apply decals to models. Easy peazy.I have the Marty decals from way back, but have been too paranoid to actually apply them. Can anyone give me pointers?
