That's absolute bull **** that Hot Toys doesn't care about North America. The first season of Mandalorian wasn't even released for months and months after the US showing overseas while they were pumping out releases non-stop. Meanwhile we're always told China/HK doesn't care about Star Wars. Who are they making the figures for then?

China loves North America... to sell to. We still have more people with expendable cash than China does. I'm quite certain they do care. But they won't take **** or demands. That's why I still believe Harrison Ford is on their **** list. When the new Indy arrives, we shall see if they relent on that Bespin Han.

Is BTTF big in China? I can't see why, its so American. North American.

This seems like the same thing HT did recently with the Batman Begins figure, and that ended up being a exclusive for Sideshow.

Hot Toys has never had a figure that's been exclusive to HK or Japan outside of some really old ones that were tied to MILK magazine. I highly doubt they'll make Doc not avaible to the US. That post just sounds like someone talking out their ass since the only thing announced so far is that it'll be on sale at their BBTF event.

I cannot recall them EVER doing a character and making it limited, outside the Iron Man realm, and those were paint variants. They did some MILK and a Disney store exclusive. If these were limited, it would be the first time they did that, and why not make the money back? It would be so unlike Hot Toys not trying to get as much money back as possible. I think these will be available world wide.

The accesories for that Doc is amazing. Good job, Hot Toys. This is now my MOST WANTED figure. The HS could be better, hopefully they will tweak it, but Hot Toys did an FANTASTIC job with all the stuff. His tool belt is uncanny.

Yeah I'm not buying that. He's most likely confusing it with the fact that it's probably a Toy Sapien store exclusive for overseas. So if you're in HK or Japan, you won't be able to get it like you normally would over there. Has nothing to do with Sideshow not getting it.

At minimum Hot Toys would give them initial access, or some sort of exclusive accessory. This happens all the time with SS. But the rest of the world gets it at some point.

No way Hot Toys would do a deal like this without the ability to supply to the rest of the world.

Agree I never thought they would do the plutonium case. But where is his briefcase with the hair dryer, underwear and Playboy. It will probably show up with one of the 50s Marty version knowing HT

In other words, Sideshow will get it. But we will have it first. For about ten minutes. Might not be a DeLorean though.
