That’s a weird assumption. There’s plenty of fat funny actors that take on serious roles.

They're probably still waiting on a bunch of approvals, including likeness, to announce Doc Ock.

Believe it when I see it, he doesn’t strike me as having much range, I didn’t really buy him during the more serious scenes in NWH so it’s an assumption based on what I’ve seen.

Justin's Collection source said Doc Ock will most likely be February aka after Chinese New Year. NNOOOO!!! Hope that is wrong.

Ock doesn’t have a mask they can use for all of his promo photos with the promise of a headsculpt reveal later like they could with Goblin, so if they’re still “pending licensor approval” on Alfred Molina like they are Willem DaFoe then unfortunately yeah it’ll be a bit yet.

So I finally got the Figure Oh #288 magazine in hand, I am sad to report that the mechanical arms on the cover have red on them. Inside the mag itself, there are no pix of the Goblin or Doc. Ock figures! So it’s just a gimmick cover!! Oh well…

Wow, I’m willing to admit when I was wrong - they really did do the red arms as a deluxe, albeit in the opposite way that people predicted (expecting you’d have to pony up for the deluxe to get the non-red arms). Not a soul is paying extra for the deluxe. What a pointless, worthless bonus.

More importantly, this is one of the worst sculpts they have ever done. Even with the glasses it looks terrible. Like, dear god it’s bad. Back to the drawing board, Hot Toys.
