Seriously **** that ****. This figure shouldn't even cost as much as it does, despite the nice jetpack. It barely has any diecast compared to threezero figures, which have more diecast and cost less.

Anybody still own the Hot Toys MMS32 Robocop with the Jet pack? I'm kinda curious if this new Robo uses the same sculpt.

The MSRP for the original 202 was already way too high for $300+ for the regular and $450 for the one with the chair. A mostly plastic action figure with no real likeness rights or issues. It’s always been bad.

I waited about a year or two after the figure released in 2014 to get the regular one for $210 shipped. Then in 2017ish I got the one with the mechanical chair for about $260.

Even if the paint job was perfect, I would never pay $375+ for a barebones figure like this. $400+ when it’s just a repaint of the same mold with the same cheap, clear plastic sockets and the sound components removed? Yeah, forget it. They didn’t even try on this one. For that price, you could have gotten some Burke faceplates and a Murphy head or something. This release was only a cash grab to reuse a preexisting mold.

Only way I’d get this one is if it was heavily marked down. Like, below $290. Thankfully it seems Hot Toys and Sideshow has learned their lesson and only makes batch allotments for the “gotta have it” suckers. That’s not sustainable forever though.

Well, call me a sucker, but I just paid my invoice with Kit for it. Its a figure I have wanted for long time and its gonna be brand new.
Edit: Hopefully Kit will ship it quick so I can get it for my BD on 25th. That would make my day!

Yeah, same with here in the Netherlands, but that is why I go with Kit. So far no issues with VAT/customs.. God forbid!

Yeah I got mine from Popcultcha. Was $367 shipped (US dollars). I’ve ordered a few figs with them now and their international shipping is really affordable. But if I recall they don’t double box, so they might take a beating on the way, free “battle damage”.

OG still has the BD helmet and sound module, so it'll drop, but it prob won't nosedive

I’m local to PC and they don’t double box for me but they do use a c#!p ton of bubble wrap

Looks great. My total with shipping from Kit - EUR420. Might be much but I had a whole year to save up for it and looking at those pics, definitely do not regret it. Wanted a Robo since I was a kid when I saw the first movie in the local theater.

Could not agree more. Chin is so visible, how can you miss that? Also, I would not mind another Robo to play with for free...
