LOL at the first page judging the **** out of this character. He's so ******* amazing in the movie and is perfect for Star Wars.

His last stand against the death troopers was amazing, a scene that I really hope exist in the movie

Chirrut and Baze are like Buddhist Han and Chewie. Have to get both.

This guy had me worried after seeing him at comicon...or was it celebration...anyways, I liked him a lot more than I though I would.

That he spilled the spoilers?

Yeah that was a classic "palm-forehead" moment. Mostly worried because he (self admittedly) had a hard time speaking english. So I though he was either going to be hard to understand (ala Bane TDK) or just be the strong silent type.

His English was decent in the movie. A lot easier to read off a script rather than form your own sentences I imagine.

No ****? I didn't know he has a hard time with English. I wouldn't have ever guessed that.

I was also very impressed with how well Donnie Yen spoke, I've never seen a movie of his so I didn't know what to expect. I had a really nice Chinese science professor this semester that no one could understand and it made the class difficult. It was just an interesting parallel after hearing his dialect for 15 weeks. But heck, I couldn't go over there and speak "good" Chinese if you paid me, so I say this from a position of understanding/no hard feelings.

Baze was probably the least developed of all the crew. Go back and watch the original teaser trailer and first full trailer and there are a number of lines of dialogue from him that got completely cut from the movie. Shame.

After hitting the movie (number 3) again last night, I'm hoping this one gets produced...would be cool to display with Imwie. Not a lot of banter with Baze, but his loyalty and strengths really came through. I loved how he may not have had "faith" in the force, but he respected his friend's faith it it, right to the end. One of the cooler moments in the movie.

He was a guardian of the whills, or whatever it was called, so he definitely believed in it at one point, I think Chirrut even said at one point that Baze was one of the most devout of the guardians (I think when they were imprisoned in Saw Guerrera's base, or not), probably lost some faith when all the Jedi were hunted down. The two go hand-in-hand, I do hope all of Rogue One squad get made, and Krennic.

Well, after poking around on line and seeing some trade show previews from the far east that featured just the line-up we've already seen for Rogue One ( Erso, the droid, the variety of stormtroopers, the Death Troopers, Vader, Cherrut, the Shore Troopers and Baz))...we may have seen the entire line. No Krennic, Andor, Rook or other rebels/ mercenaries on the horizon. Wouldn't surprise me if Baze gets canceled before he's announced.

With Episode VIII looming as well as the next Marvel and DC properties, HT is going to be busy just keeping up with the latest instead of going deep on any one property.

And if that's the case, that's going to be too bad...I'd rather see more from RO than the umpteenth version of some of the Marvel characters getting a slight outfit tweak and taking up production time.

I completely agree and posted the same some time ago. (Have no clue what thread, though.)

Hot Toys is over-extended and unless their facilities double in size immediately, I see limited releases for each Star Wars film.

I'm sure if they were to announce a 1/6th scale "Snow White" figures line, we'd only get Snow White and 2 dwarfs... (Dopey and perhaps Grumpy).

This guy has no purpose in the movie. Everyone else had something to do except this guy. Yes he is Asian, yes Hot Toys are Asian but he's honestly the most forgettable character out of the lot.
