I also went in pretty deep with Rogue One, only cause I really connected with the movie and it's extremely good tie in with ANH. What more could you want actually ?

I'd be keen to get the full R1 crew. But who knows how that will pan out. Just wish HT would give a bit more info to show their direction. Then again, I guess we are coming to the end of the year, perhaps we'll get another Howard desk shot showing some more out of focus upcoming figs for next year, or worst case the 2018 catalogue which is pretty accurate in hindsight.

TFA I managed to hold off on, and got some of the main characters at severely discounted prices. Rey + BB8, Kylo, Phasma, a trooper & Finn. All I need is Poe and I have the main characters which I like the most, and that will cover the trilogy for me. I don't need multiple versions of one character. That's a nice little display in itself. I don't have Detolfs though, but my display covers 6-7 characters together. But I'll show more on that when it's done.

Anyone get this shipped ? I was charged yesterday morning but not shipped yet

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I presume you mean from SSC, yes?

It shows I was charged my final payment yesterday as well, but the status still says "Payment Processing" and doesn't show as having been shipped.

Wor-Gar, the DeathTrooper is a cool looking figure, even if displayed without Krennic.

Yeah, but I really like them with Krennic, as a reverse color-scheme to Vader with reg white Stormtroopers.

I still hope Krennic shows up sometime, maybe next year.

In the meantime, its quite likely I'll be picking up a Deluxe Jyn to go with my K2. When and if Krennic and Death Trooper happen, those 4 will make for a very solid RO shelf.

As far as TLJ, so far I have not seen anything that screams 'must-have' on the shelf for me. So I might be lucky enough to make it thru yet another Skywalker film with only two figures. Imagine the entire ST trilogy as a shelf of 6 figures. Shame on you, JJ. Lucas has not taught you well.

Interesting. It actually never occurred to me that Krennic and the Death Troopers are the reverse colors of Vader and Stormies. Sure I got the "black vs. white" with regard to just the Troopers but hadn't extended it to Krennic and Vader. That's really cool.

I also liked that RO introduced the AT-AT's in the exact reverse of how they appeared in ESB. Instead of a close-up of a foot and then panning up to the head RO did the opposite with the head coming out of the smoke and then showing the stomping feet as the rebels fled.

Luke's Hoth bacta tank is also a lot more ominous with RO in mind as it creates an even greater implication of him descending into darkness as Vader did. RO introduces Vader in a bacta tank flanked by two royal guards and then in ESB we have Luke in a bacta tank flanked by the two medical droids. I nice moment of symmetry that doesn't beat you over the head with it's "poetry."

Getting deep in here... but I do like all the contrast and symmetries brought up.
RO has equally taken over my display with OT. Nothing on the ST has piqued my interest enough to purchase anything but hand full of Black Series and import figures.
I also have a Disney body swapped Krennic with minor accessory mods standing in WAIT for HT's tease/release.
I may end up getting Deluxe Jyn since it looks like such a solid figure with tons of accessories and display options but I really like her disguise version since I am pulled towards anything Imperial. K2 is hanging with troopers which was my main goal in getting him but really want the Deathstar Trooper and console to display him posted as a security droid on call behind him.
"HT your release date is vague and unconvincing."

Well then, I'm in good company then...same situation here. I'll give it another day then call if no movement.

For me the pull of RO was that is it set in the period of the Empire and not 'The First Order' or 'The Republic/Separatists'

The film was great and the characters where memorable. I have Jyn Deluxe incoming and already have The amazing Shoretrooper as well as a DT and Chirrut.
I am on the fence with Jyn disguise, not because I don't want it but I have a few pre orders due in and need to be sensible.

I would like a K2SO at some point too.

oh and... Where is my Baze HT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Excellent point regarding the reverse color-scheme. You can't go wrong with K2 and Jyn.

Great point regarding the bacta tank. Hadn't thought of that.

So I received Stardust today. To be honest, I don't really have anything bad to say about this figure. All of my quibbles are really just extremely minor nit picks, such as I think the scarf could be a bit thinner around her neck and the vest could stand to be a bit longer. All in all though, I think it's a strong effort by HT. The belt is able to be removed with ease for adjusting, being that it attaches by Velcro; however, I got the impression that taking it on and off is not something you'd want to do over and over, lest the Velcro will start to fray and not be as adhesive. The sculpt I would give a solid 9, which I feel is comparable to the ANH Leia sculpt. They've done a good job overall on the R1 figures.

Wow! Beautiful figure. Congrats.

The more actual production photos, the better it seems to be.

Great posts everyone re: the "deeper" points of Rogue One.

I'm still of the opinion that Rogue One will go down as one of the classic Star Wars films. Even more so when you look at the thought and effort that went into the symmetry etc mentioned above.

IMO all the more reason to hope for the rest of the core characters from HT next year.

I got mine, so happy with it! I can't wait to get my bookshelfs up to display it.

Mine just showed up at my desk at work. Good times. Can't wait to bust her out when I get home.
