Thanks! Interested in the Deluxe though.

Definitely get the deluxe. You won't regret it. I believe that is one of the best value Hot Toys figures at the moment. I am not saying that $249.99 for an action figure is cheap. I mentioned that it is a great value by comparing it to the Suicide Squad Harley Quinn figure that currently retails for the same price. I absolutely love the Harley Quinn figure (I even posted about it) but I think that the Jyn Erso deluxe figure offers more value for your money by giving you a ton of accessories and different costumes. I even thought about purchasing more than one figure so that I can display her with different looks (similar to what I considered doing for the Rey and BB-8 figure).

That's good to know, thanks.

The Deluxe is currently on sale at Popcultcha, with shipping it comes out to $229.05:

Appreciate you remembering.

I still feel like if I wait I can do better on ebay this Holiday Season. I don't know. Maybe I'll do it.

EDIT: Turd just reminded me there's cc fees on the currency change. That's going to make the deal close to $240. I just saw one go for $240 last night, best offer.

The weird thing is that most (no Shore or "clean" troopers) of the Rogue One Stormies are still available from them when they've sold out here in the US. You might just be wise to hold off until they have a better sale next year on this.

I play this game so much now. Most of the time it pays to be patient, but there's always those few that you miss and the price just holds stubbornly and then goes up quickly. Like the Death Trooper Deluxe. I'll feel worse if they ever make Krennic.

These are my guidelines:

1. "I know I undoubtedly want it in my collection." Therefore, PO it at retail. Even if the price drops, I don't feel any regret because it was worth at least retail to me because I know I wanted it in my collection.

2. "Eh, I'd like to have it, but I can live without it." Wait for deals and/or the secondary market. If the prices comes down, cool, I'll bite at a lower price. If it increases in price, I can live without it.

3. "It's on the secondary market now, I want it, but I'm not paying over a certain price."

Of course there's some grey areas. I might know for sure I want a figure, but at the same time, I'll be 99% sure it's going to be able to be had for lower prices later on. Even though I know for sure I want it in my collection and it is worth retail to me, I'll take the gamble and wait for a lower price if I'm pretty certain it can be acquired a lower price.

Most figures for me at this point are at your #2. (and I usually behave at #3)

The ones I want -- like Tarkin or Jedi Luke -- I paid the NRD and locked in my order. (even though I'm certain there will be Tarkin's floating around for $175 easy)

Or that you're unsure if you want something so you wait for the better deal that might push you into buying but then it sells out so now you have to have it and you shop around for closest to retail price available. :lol

Tarkin would fall into my #2 category. RotJ Luke was in my #1. Haven't much lately suddenly decided that I wanted a figure that is on the secondary market when I know it's over retail.

That happens too. Might happen to me on Ripley and Jyn Erso.

But I played this game on Yoda and got one new for $153...

I've been strongly tempted on Ripley myself. I have $80 in reward points with her name on them if she lasts into early next year (spent waaay to much lately, need a break).
