I hope that RO doesn't get buried under the weight the Sequels.
Tarkin is so long over due, and this was our best hope.
I hope you are right but I don't share your optimism. I really think the most likely RO new release will be imperial Jyn as a toy fair exclusive. And I think she will come before stormtrooper han
Just think it's too early for all the pessimism perhaps. Only reason I say that is we still have Celebration and SDCC, and they likely can't show anything from Episode 8 until Force Friday in September, so that to me leaves OT and Rogue One as possibilities (plus other figures that are from Episode 8 that they can release/reveal and say are from Episode 7--like R2, 3PO, and maybe Poe?
). Last year leading up to and at SDCC they were still revealing some Episode 7 figures.

Yeah, that too...they live 'in a bubble' because they can afford to.
But from a business standpoint they're obviously doing something right.

Thing is we are still waiting for HT to make good on some of the figures they threatened to make at those toy shows last year. Snowtrooper commander, sandtrooper sergeant, death star crew, gonks, 1/4 stuff, etc. Maybe some of this still happens but what is this the 2-3 year plan now? Buried behind an onslaught of figures from suicide squad which happens to be one of the WORST movies I have ever had the misfortune of sitting through. I just don't know what to expect with the toy fairs this year. Do they show the same stuff they didn't make last year, or do they move on with a bunch of new stuff and pretend last year's stuff never existed?

I'm still holding out hope that the Cassian and Krennic Cosbabies mean we'll see them in 1/6 scale. And I actually think that Imperial Jyn is more iconic than ST Han. Mostly because her disguise was so synonymous with the marketing and hype leading up to the movie while Han's ST disguise was more integrated in the on screen group activities. Plus Han has at the minimum four other outfits *more* iconic than ST disguise.

Maybe iconic wasn't the right word. But that look for her still seems more "important" to me than Han's ST disguise for the reasons I mentioned.

Seriously though I do agree that jyn in the imperial giddup looks cool enough. But the look appears in one of the most ridiculous screen grabs in the history of SW pictured below. They look like a couple of horribly out of place undercover vice cops soon to get their heads blown off.
