1/6 Hot Toys - The Flash - The Flash Collectible Figure

I'm beginning to waffle on keeping this. I don't particularly care for Ezra, obviously. But I liked the suit even though it's gonna be basically impossible to articulate this thing in any meaningful way.

I could put this money towards JazzInc Catwoman or my HT Batmobile flex plan. I've also go the SooSooToys 90's Flash on order and may just stick with that.

Almost feels like HT are waiting for people to cancel everything they promised for this movie, since it has been completely silent for a very long time. I'm interested in (and have ordered) Supergirl, but that interest is starting to turn to frustation and an inclination to cancel.

I remain so very upset at how WB handled the movie. I've waited so long for a proper Flash movie... and I still don't think we actually got one. It's this giant monkey's paw of one of my favorite heroes finally getting his big Hollywood break... in a dying universe, with none of his actual Flash villains in it, with a problematic lead actor, serving more-so as a multiverse vehicle to bring in gratuitous cameos and resurrect dead actors as CGI puppets, with some glaringly bad effects and pacing, all flopping so hard that I'm praying this doesn't damn the character to Green Lantern-level jokes and mockery for the next several decades.

... And yet my love for the character is still high enough that I'm tempted by the Hot Toys version of the character. I honestly think it looks BETTER than the film (not being covered in a slather of CGI helps). But I really just can't justify it. It's too big a compromise.

And so I continue waiting for a Flash done justice.

Yeah I'm seriously regretting my preorder now, since I find the movie as unbearable now as everyone else did early on. And the new Keaton figure has the same cheesy stench on it unfortunately, even if it does look quite cool on its own.

Supergirl is the only one I'd still want to keep, just because she was the only thing that worked in the movie and we've never had a HT Supergirl before.

I hope these don't get delayed until next year, it feels like ages since they went up for preorder. I have all on preorder but the stuntman Batman lol, I just think they'll all look great together, I hope the final products don't disappoint.

I wish I could think of something to replace the boots with. It's the only part of the costume I don't care for.

Idk that they can legally fix it to resemble Affleck. I seem to remember hearing he wasn't giving his likeness out for that film. I maybe wrong tho.

Supergirl is the only one I'd still want to keep, just because she was the only thing that worked in the movie and we've never had a HT Supergirl before.

I really liked Supergirls costume in this. I considered getting her but I struggle with a Supergirl that isn't blonde. The current updated sculpt at least looks a lot better than the original prototype, so there's that.

But if I got her, updated sculpt or not, I'd have to go through the hell of finding a blonde sculpt for it and that's just too much money and effort. Bleh.

I do look forward to seeing the final product tho. I may regret passing on it in the end, idk.

There's the SooSooToys Supergirl but that sculpt suffers from Soosoo's sculptor who CAN NOT do eyes properly. She's got the same, bug eyes their Homelander sculpt has.

Eyes are also comically too far apart.

The entire passage of the film with the different universes is atrocious and useless, it should never have been filmed, plus they would have saved money.

I'll take Flash and Black Adam over any MCU film in the last 6 yrs. Easily.
