It does look incredible. The smirking sculpt is my favorite.

This figure is really a DX01 upgrade, down to the accessories and eye gimmick. It's like a remake of that figure.

The part where they move the eyes reminded me of this old HT video when they were showing off the PERS.

Time really flies, imagine what the industry will achieve in another decade or so!

Small thing but you’d think the sculpted 2 pack would be the “deluxe” and the rooted would be the “premium”, but they have it the other way around. Strange.

Shipping is pricey everywhere now. Spec charged me close to $200 to ship Queen’s Batman statue. Sure that one’s gotta be a heavier item but still a pretty penny.

the “connecting base” for it an Joker is almost as big of a box and even heavier, and they charge me $30.

so TBD indeed.
Oh man I ordered the QS Phoenix Joker bust through them to ship to England. Can't imagine what shipping will be now

Put my order in for the regular at OSK.
Thankfully I'm working from home so I could spend the last hour catching up with this thread instead of working. :lol

So do I understand that correctly the standard version comes with two bodies? At 3:20 he says plain body and purple coat body.

I was wondering the same, but it could be a translation thing? I also wonder if the wrists actually have articulation beyond rotation, given how the magnet snaps on.

So did I. ;)
No, the description states one body.
If true then it brings up the question on how to attach the "naked" forearms. This would indicate that the purple coat display option uses a different magnetic forearm piece (which is neither listed nor shown) which attaches in the elbow area but has no hands attached. Maybe we really get a "naked" body without any clothing so that you have to switch the outfit from one body to the other while the premium gets 2 outfits.

Also the premium lists a "green vest suit" which the standard version doesn't, but that could also be a translation thing.

I would imagine the one body does indeed have magnetic connectors at the elbow for the ungloved arms/hands, and also wrist magnets for the gloved ones.

No, the description states one body.
But why does it state two figures in the description then? One figure with accessories to create two different styles/versions?

I think most buyers believe we'll get two figures with the deluxe and premium alternatives. It would be rather frustrating if it turns out you 'only' get one figure for these two editions...

The two pack comes with two bodies, the standard only one.

What confused me was what he says in the video:
  • "The standard edition includes [...] a plain body, and an alternate purple coat body"
  • When talking about the Premium and Deluxe: "The addition of any one of these three accessories, whether it's the headsculpt, the body, or the base, will create more combinations"
That sounds like there are two different types of bodies, one intended for displaying the purple coat, and one of the jail cell look. However, based on the descriptions, I also highly doubt the regular will come with two bodies, but since it does come with the arm pieces, you should be able to re-create the jail cell look...

In the end I think it just comes down to the translations being a bit off, and there is simply one type of body for all looks, but I'm still curious how it plays out.

After some time thinking, I've decided to just get the standard edition. I think the sculpted hair still looks good and will ship out first since it's easier to make. Do not need the diorama since it doesn't fit on the detolf anyway. Also if I was to spend 1k on 1/6th collectibles, I rather get a Hot Toys Deloreon vehicle than 2 figures with rooted hair.

What's the confusion with the bodies now? It says two bodies in the description. And I don't see any reason why they would be two different bodies - just two of the same. They detach at the forearms with one set being seamless, gross, paint smeared dirt ball hands and the other set that are able to accommodate the gloved hands.
