Whats going on with Toys Wonderland - I'm getting the impression somethings gone on.
Is there any controversy about KGHobby? - I have a tonne of pre-orders with them....

Regardless, that's quite the career change after naval aviator and Top Gun instructor. :chase

I tried doing a Top ~10 wishlist of the characters I'd buy in an UltraMegaGigaSuperDuper Deluxe Premium Edition format and... I don't know. I started furiously writing another wall of text filled with characters that will literally never get made (unless there's a big market for Jude Law Popes), so let's just say I'd drop the 1-2K on all versions of a metal armoured Doom with rooted hair headsculpts, a rooted ROTS Anakin and some UltraHigh-End Vader, and forget the rest for the time being... I'll try and get their rooted Paul, and see where we go from there. No, you know what? I'd sell my kidney and empty my accounts and drop the 15K on a 1/6th Gahd Emprah Of Mankind just to see that thing become a reality.

One more thing, in regards to the best villains since Ledger. I can't believe I didn't think of it earlier, and how nobody's mentioned him. I'm obviously talking about

Fassbender's Magneto.

Between his version and McKellen's, the character's a bonafide cinema villain classic who can very much comfortably sit alongside Joker and Vader IMHO. Yes, the Post-DoFP movies were pretty bad, and I won't say that he left the same culturel landmark as Ledger, but I think he most certainly deserves to be up there with the best. I can only pray MCU Doom will fare similarly, but I reckon he'll be a Loki type at best...

I just pulled the trigger on the deluxe rooted pack.... Jesus Christ I can't believe I am spending a grand (USD) on a 1/6 figure....
Quick someone say something reassuring!!!! :ROFLMAO:

I'm now in the 'I can't believe I just spent 1k on a figure' club. Ok, two figures.

You & me both mate, you & me both....

I'm going to cancel a whole bunch of other preorders to make this work & will probably sell some things. But in the end I couldn't let this figure pass me by..... no doubt this will be the future of the hobby if this comes close to the prototype.

Still got my eye on that Blitzway Hellboy though...

Prepare for if that happens to anyone who got this joker from them. ( hopefully everyone here is smart enough to have not)
Yesterday a lot collector in china complaint QS that they bought the rooted hair version on QS site for 5988 CNY while there’s a HK store selling it at $800 which is 1000 CNY less, many people ask for refund

Is that store reliable? They might lose their chance if that store doesn't even get the figure and deliver.

They get what they pay for.

Hey Kit, is there any reason you are closing your PO 3-day window early? I ordered from you the first night but I'm just curious why the shorter window. If you can say...

It seems crazy that they didn't offer a single rooted hair option... but all we can figure is too many orders and too much work for Viper because everyone would order that one. By forcing two, they can amortize a better rate for the hairing.

I wonder what the ratio is of people who would have bought the single rooted but decided against buying the double to people who would have bought the single rooted but bought the double because it's the only way to get one.

I got in touch with QS and thank you so much for all your support, I think my volume could make them happy, but there’s some technical issue, I wasn’t sure if that may cause problem on partnership with QS:

Basically we are HK base store, QS license cover china mainland only, which doesn’t include Hong Kong. With the collector strike on QS yesterday that “buying from overseas is cheaper” it may trigger QS to avoid partnership with HK stores

We decide to cooperate with local china distributor so technically QS ship our order within China. I always prefer to play safe even we are paying higher cost because it’s important to make sure we get our orders in 100%

The distributor cut off few hour earlier because they need time to manage all orders. And we also need few more hours to sort our orders too so we are cutting offer earlier

I think I still would've went for the 2-pack as I love having an alternate sculpt and it would've eaten at me to not of gotten the extra sculpt when the chance was possible.

That said, I would've much preferred not having to buy two full figures, but instead just having the extra sculpt for an extra fee would've been fine with me. Having two fully clothed figures is a little useless to me as part of the fun of having swap out parts is being able to swap them out. I'm not one who buys two of the same figure to display two different options at the same time.

Interesting. Thank you very much for the background. So much intrigue and excitement with this figure and with Queen Studios new direction.

I actually came around on the two-figure set because of the jail dio. I think the jail Joker will be alot of fun to pose in that environment, and that cage will look epic in the detolf -- I'm still thinking it will fit.

Maybe he'll be in jail with Two-Face and The Riddler... who knows?

The dio is definitely cool especially since the bars are real metal and I believe they said the floorboards are real wood. Better than a printed piece of card stock that HT gives us

The Jail diorama/look was what persuaded me in the end also - I love the messiness of that makeup, it gives a good reason to use those awesome magnetic bare arms & the diorama itself looks fantastic. Also the interrogation is my favourite Ledger scene.
The other figure coming with the the grenade-coat-rig is also a huge plus to me - that was sorely missing from the DX11.
