The dio is definitely cool especially since the bars are real metal and I believe they said the floorboards are real wood. Better than a printed piece of card stock that HT gives us

I got in touch with QS and thank you so much for all your support I think my volume could make them happy, but there’s some technical issue that I wasn’t sure if that may cause problem on partnership with QS:

basically we are HK base store, QS license cover china mainland only, which doesn’t include Hong Kong. With the collector strike with QS yesterday that “buying from overseas is cheaper” that may trigger QS to avoid partnership with HK stores

We decide to cooperate with local china distributor so technically QS ship our order within China. I always prefer to play safe even we are paying higher cost but it’s important to make sure we get our orders in 100%

The distributor cut off few hour earlier because they need time to manage all orders. And we also need few more hours to sort our orders too so we are cutting offer earlier

All because this one store is selling "cheaper".... I'd like to see the look on people who ordered from them when they charge for shipping, that's if they even get their orders in to do that.

I believe it was in one of the live streams. However, this thread has moved so fast, it's hard to remember exactly where the info came from. Queen Studios did post a video on their social media running a metal tool along the prison bars to show that the bars were in fact metal. Can't exactly remember where they said that the flooring was real wood though.

They haven't explicitly said the flooring is real wood, but this product image lists "solid wood" as one of the materials, and there's nowhere else for it have been used.

Queen posted on the dio on their Weibo, in it they drag a pen accross the metal bars and bench to show it's actual metal.

I hope this distributor is reliable and will be able to fulfill all the orders. It kinda gets more complicated if you have to go through another step or through another entity to have a job done.

The Jail diorama/look was what persuaded me in the end also - I love the messiness of that makeup, it gives a good reason to use those awesome magnetic bare arms & the diorama itself looks fantastic. Also the interrogation is my favourite Ledger scene.
The other figure coming with the the grenade-coat-rig is also a huge plus to me - that was sorely missing from the DX11.

Yep, more than the "Hit Me" look, I really love that Grenade Gag look and wanted that pose on my shelf more than anything else.

I still wonder how the grenades will affix inside the coat. Nothing has been shown.

Just so you guys can get an idea of how "legit" this certain store's prices are, Queen had to post a statement telling people that the store in question is disrupting the market and their reputation with low prices and being deliberately malicious and decieving with the way they're advertising and seeling the figure, Queen has already sent a warning and is willing to pursue further measures. They also thank everyone supporting them from all over the world.

I've pretty much ignored all the TW talk and controversy since I've never ordered anything from them and don't plan to, but if they end up screwing things up for the more reputable HK stores like OSK I'll be seriously damn pissed.

Has anyone listed all the varying prices out there for this?

For instance, for US, TW is cheaper at $988 BUT with regular shipping ($145) it brings the price to $1133 total.

There is a $60 option to ship if you're willing to wait up to 90 days.

Below are just rumors I heard these days:

One HK store try to put in their order of "gametoys cloud figure with 2 week delay in deposit, distributor rejected their order. Even gametoys themselves notice the said store having serious financial problem, gametoys said they wouldn't take their orders too. As mentioned previously the said store already screwed some supplier/stores with no/low deposit they dropped out lots of orders

I heard from other HK stores that the said store is offering wholesale for QS joker, with incredible discount but charging higher deposit than QS

15 years in the business, first time I see someone could under-cut hot toys price for preorder, significant below the wholesale cost <-- But you need to pay in full to enjoy the discount

Plus I see lots of posts on facebook that people got their hot toys from said store, why there's a Dr.strange base with the Spider-man he bought,, of coz they can blame hot toys for QC issue. The other day I see post from people bought hot toys from them and it comes with a VTS black skull mask inside.. oh well is that Hot Toys and VTS the same company?

Maybe I am too stupid to understand the math, but really when something is too good to be true, be careful!
