Received my deluxe (sculpted hair) set yesterday, did a quick inspection to make sure nothing was amiss. I haven’t had a chance until today to play around but this is a phenomenal figure. I don’t think pictures can truly do it justice.

The paint app on the headsculpt is superb. As someone who used to own the HT Joker 2.0, I think Inart has done a far better job with the paint. Is it a perfect likeness? No, but it gets the essence of the character right. The sculpted hair is much more volumous than the hair on the HT headsculpt.

Cut and sew of the entire outfit is great. Every piece of clothing is of the perfect thickness, so everything layers over one another without looking weird.

Worth the wait 👌

Somebody posted this on Justin's group. If you read through the comments, he's actually trying to make a case for the DX11. Even claims that it's the better overall figure and that he's going to sell the Inart. He's not even using the DX11 sculpt in his comparison.

Obviously he's entitled to his opinion. I just think it's bizarre is all. He cobbled this together in his dissatisfaction with the stock figure, but I can't see how it's supposed to be an upgrade. To each their own I suppose.

I don’t agree with this person but I don’t think they’re wrong. These things mean different things to different people and if you aren’t inclined to see the difference in detail between this and the DX11 then all you’re going to see is one joker that seems like a finished product and one that has broken joints and missing magnets.

I think we all expected a lot less issues with this release than there have been.

I think he makes some very valid points. INART touted these as 'The Next Generation' in 1/6 scale figures.
This Joker figure ain't it.

With it's over scaled head, poorly executed moveable eye system, (which appear to be sitting far too deep within the head sculpt) And numerous QC issues, this figure is over hyped and way over priced.
It's only real selling point is the very well done rooted hair and some very nice magnetic engineering.

Scale wise, his cobbled together Joker looks better.

It is $350 for the standard version...is it really overpriced though?

I guess it's worth whatever price one thinks it's worth. Or how much one really wants a Joker figure in their collection.
Personaly i wouldn't like to find an over scaled head sculpt on any figure, let alone on one that cost $350.

Again for a first figure release this should have been as close to perfection as a production piece can get.

I didn't order any of these InArt figures but just to provide some perspective, I was able to order from Asmus Toys an incredible looking faux haired and bearded Gandalf the White head sculpt for $120 bucks. It didn't have the PERS feature but did have the added beard.

I only bring this up to perhaps use as an example of what a well detailed head sculpt "could" cost to the consumer. I'm obviously comparing it to the faux haired Joker and not the sculpted/molded haired version.

And it's not a bobble head either:D

It's a sticky, reusable putty like plasticine.

I think it was originally designed for attaching posters to walls, but it's very useful when assembling 1/6 figures as you can use it to help secure sculpts/boots/feet etc when using non-compatible parts from different manufacturers. Or if you're a 1/6 manufacturer and you run out of magnets. :monkey3
Ah ok thanks, in France will call it "Patafix" 😁
And so, why we need blue Tack for this Joker??
Is it because of the magnets?

You don't need the blue tack for this Joker. Some of the headsculpts that were shipped out have blue tack to hold the back piece in place b/c they were production samples that didn't have the magnets installed and not final product pieces with magnets. As a result, some collectors got those production sample headsculpts with their figures.

As a long time one sixth scale collector. And my first expensive figure was actually the Hot Toys DX01 figure. I can honestly say this INART FIGURE COMPLETELY BLOWS AWAY THE DX11. Everything about this figure screams high-end to me. And I overpaid for this figure from eBay. But I feel like I got a figure worth the money that I spent. And I got the sculpted hair version . That guy's just a whining cry baby. He's just mad cuz he spent $1,000 on a figure and can't complain to anybody else so he complains where he's complaining 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I saw your YouTube video with the side by side with the DX01. The DX 11 also looks dated now next to the InArt. I have owned every version of hot toys joker…I only kept the DX01 because of the cop version included.

I do love the T1 and T2 figures. It's a shame HT never revisited those movies but we got some terrific figures that still hold up really well even after so many years. I have the non deluxe version of the T2 T800 and the T1000, they're some of my all time favourite figures.

The most noticeable thing about the Inart Joker, for me, is how well the whole outfit comes together. Having owned the DX11, I remember it looked quite awkward once it was fully dressed so I would display it without the suit jacket. Let's not forget the uproar over the coat, I ended up replacing it with an aftermarket one from the DX01 😄
