Some quick shots of the Indiana head...
all three and then to two repaints... I think they look better on a body and in the flesh so to speak. I was hoping that the Indiana I bought would make it today... but I think we can say its lost in the post :( PANTS....

I may try to do a wee tinker with the first cast I painted and see if I can improve it...

owww chuffin great !!!!!

I will pm you my address... how many stones come with the Indy as I will cast you up some if you want some?

:)

If I'd known the UK Indy contingent was this strong I would have come here ages ago!

If I wasn't waiting for my Ezio body and rather wanting that and the head to be together so I can get cracking on arrival I'd happily send you mine.

What is it with the regular sculpts that you can't paint them anyway? I usually cover my sculpts with Oxy spot cream when I've finished stripping them, you leave it overnight and the sculpt is ready to paint when you scrub it off. I've never had any trouble with vinyl heads in the past.

Will this help you guys if you fancy making your own holster ? I used it for mine and it looks better than the Sideshow version.

Is that from the Indy Gear site? It'll look good on the belt, but you couldn't fit the gun into it. The holster was made to fit the guns with the cut down barrel which the SSC gun doesn't have.

nice one Paul... any idea where I can get some lock pins. I guess I could use some pin heads but it would be v tough.

Tough, but not impossible, my Die Hard rig that was made for me by Murray Corrigan used cut down pins and they work perfectly. I think you could make what you want if you have some side-cutter pliers. I seem to remember cutting pins to length for a Pinhead figure I once had, it is tricky but certainly doable.

You might have to play about with the scale a little but I used this pattern with the Sideshow pistol and amazingly enough it does fit ! ( And it looks quite good too. ) If my camera wasn't on the fritz I'd shoot you off a couple of pics.

( Nice to see you over here by the way ! )

Oh, right, that's cool. Steve O said he used an original pattern for his, though whether one would fit into that I don't know. I'm planning on getting a DML Victory model revolver for my Indy as it is a good shape and has the correct loop on the butt end that I don't remember seeing on others. It doesn't have quite the correct butt design that the SSC one does, but I think that one of the proper guns (The 'Bapty'.) didn't have that design either. Still, when it's in his hand you can't see that.

You must be on OSW, do you have a different handle there?

CHEERS!

LOL, don't know how I could have missed you, I usually look at any thread to do with Indy.

I'm itching to get started, but won't till I have the body in hand, I want to paint the upper torso so it'll match the repainted head.

hahaha I am having a play at making a holster at the mo. I need to find some better leather and no sewing machine makes it tough going. I will post a pic in a bit. let me know next time you need a body and I will dig out the info of the UK guy.

Think its a wee bit small but I have learnt a lot from making it... like how nice a sewing machine would be hahhaa...

also I need to check and see what colour the holster should be.. I think its a bit lighter.
But its a start.
