Nice,

If I ever need another body I'll let you know. That holster looks good. I think Steve O gives the colour variations, his is looking mighty tempting, I'll see how I'm fixed tomorrow.

Actually, I may be off air for a bit tomorrow though as my new laptop might arrive then and I'll need time to set it up.

CHEERS!

nice one Paul.. That's really interesting as you can see from the first two shots that the holster is actually quite small. I think it will be easier once I get the pistol.

cheers Paul I will add em to my collection

Hi All

paulcarson - Mate thanks for the template that will come in handy for sure.

Dorgmal Snow - Mark the holster look great I actually resized the SS holster on one of my Indy's and it turned out pretty good pic below.

Also if you do want the holster a lighter or darker colours try using Games Workshop's Snake Bite Leather and Beastal Brown I find they work great on leather.

As you can see in the pic the holster is smaller in size, all I did was opened the stiching and placed the revolver on the opened holster and traced around it.

I then added an extra 2 millimetres to be on teh safe side and reclosed it using material and superglue.

Cheers Ron. Yeah I have been thinking about butchering the `SS one but I just thought if I fudge it up I will be stuffed. I think I will make a couple more and chose my favourite one.

Interesting, the first 2 of Paul's pics show the holster that was designed around the prop S&W that had the cut down barrel. The third one looks to be for one with a full length barrel. The SSC holster was designed for the SSC S&W which had a full length barrel.

Steve O's is a short barrel holster.

figured I'd throw mine in! just to showcase the two great artists, Josh Small, who repainted the head (shows theres a killer sculpt under that terrible SS paint!), and Kato E who did the jacket. the rest is sideshow original on a solid neck TT. enjoy!

Yeah, very nice indeed,

That's the first jacket I've seen that is leather and looks to scale. Mind you, Kato is a master and you get what you pay for and then some. Just wish I could afford his stuff.

Depends on what bucks you've got. Stevo's complete rig sells for what a holster would from MFisher, both look good quality to me. I could also get Murray Corrigan to make a custom rig too, his stuff is fantastic.

CHEERS!

id love that custom gun rig from fisher! I came a little late to the game, but am joining the countless indy fans who are let down by the hot toys offering, anyone know how i can get a hold of him?

I think he has a wee webs site. Do a forum search for him then I think he has a home page link.

I for one and pretty determined to keep on trying. The first holster I made is a little small but I need a pistol I think as I only have the Browning Auto at the mo. James has kindly lent me some bits so that I can make a mould of the Hatted Indy and I gotta say the sculpt looks great.

Here is my holster and belt so far.

I didn't think, I have a s&w revolver you could have borrowed as well. The holster looks good, it needs to be more narrow at the bottom, but I guess you can't get the right shape with the pistol

Don't forget that the belt keeper is metal on the Raiders belt.. not leather.. the other three films had the leather keeper...

ow I have SO much to learn :)!!

Hey does any one know when I can get some of the tiny metal studs/rivets for the whip clip and holster? I need some for some star wars belts I am making to.

Some patterns will be for the gun with the cut down barrel. The SSC gun doesn't have the cut down barrel. In fact, the only guns that I know of that have the short barrel are SteveO's and the Hasbro one. If anyone could drill out the barrel of the Hasbro gun and cast it you'd have a nice replica.

Cut down pins or nails are what I've seen used.
