Hmm, interesting,

Mine are definitely Relic Hunter socks as they match the colour, shape and material of the eBay ones, but, mine have the tops rolled down and are stitched at the back to stay that way.

CHEERS!

Just thought I'd share my Indy repaint/custom! Jacket is Sovereign and shirt is from eBay (can't remember the seller unfortunately) - apart from that, it's all Sideshow with a repaint by me (and thanks to Les for his awesome painting advice). Comments welcome!

Wow!

He is superb! Among the best repaints I've ever seen. Les should be proud! It also proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, just what a fine job Trevor did on that sculpt.

To me, the shirt looks like a very clean Relic Hunter shirt. I weathered the heck out of mine!

Great work

Thanks Rogerbee! Agree about the sculpt ... It's like a different figure, even with the paint stripped off. Don't want to open a can of worms in this thread but it's hard to imagine HT topping Trevor's work, even after finessing their sculpt - for me, Trevor's Indy is the ultimate!

And yep, up next ... sweat-stains and dirt for that shirt! Any recommendations based on how you weathered yours?

No problem,

I too like Trevor's sculpt a whole lot. As for the shirt, I dunked mine in a mug of cold instant coffee. I then left it in there for an hour or two then I let it dry. Simple, but very effective. Another thing to do is move the button on the open part of the shirt to the other side.

CHEERS!

I got my Ezio body earlier, it looks great with the Relic Hunter shirt on. I will have to repaint the upper torso to match the head though.

CHEERS!

I have a quick question about the scale of sideshow Indy KOTCS and Indy KOTCS from medicom. I know the sideshow head is too big for its body and everything about the medicom figure is small (when compared to other figures). But, If I was to replace the head of a sideshow Indy KOTCS with that of a medicom KOTCS indy head, would the head look too small? I really like what the medicom head looks like when repainted. I didn’t want a bobble head standing next to my figures and I don’t want to stretch out the body because then hell look like a giant next to my figures.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Well slowly gettin there with my first Indiana... Paul really kindly gave me some bits to get me moving, and J2 has sorted me with some heads to work with and some other bits and I know Rons stuff is intransit!!.. I dont want to paint up the PF head till I know I have got it right so I am gonna do some SS ones first. I have still got to remake the holster and stuff. But it the head painting I am looking forward to most.....
