The ezio body is taller than the average body yes. But it's also the closest in skin tone to the HT head so it's the way to go. Much Moreso than the Goamon body. I had it on that first and it looked awful with a bright orange neck so I switched it to ezio.

Just get any standard TrueType and swap Out the lower legs at the knees on the ezio. Then keep the taller standard TT for some guy in he future that needs tO be tall. They will certainly come in handy for the future :)

Better to drop both bodies in boiling water to make the swap easier too, ht knees can be finicky.

That's a good though Raymond... sometimes its easy to forget how modular these bodies are.

The color of the neck actually worked well for my repaint has he has more of a sunburned look.

Thanks guys, I will pick up ezio. To be honest, whilst I do a lot of painting/modding, I've never actually taken a HT body apart. Thanks for the advice!

I have to respectfully disagree with you, Ray. In my case, I thought the Saizo sunburned neck matched the headsculpt better than the Ezio. Actually, none of them match perfectly (ezio is pinkish, while saizo is brownish), but they are both close. At this point, any one of them works, considering how hard they are to find. Definitely the leg extenders on the Ezio one have to be changed, though, if you don't want a super tall Indy. ;-)

ps. There's another body with a sculpted neck that I don't remember with which figure came. Anyone remembers?

Soldier Story have a body with a sculpted neck.

Yes, I was using that for my very first Indy customs. I think I copied that from you Paul:D.

I'm pretty sure there's another Hot Toys figure with this type of sculpted neck/narrow body combo, though.

I'm going to check Sideshow's list of Hot Toys figures to see if I remember which one was.

I don't know Comtech you might just have some crazy hot toys head that's an anomaly because judging from your awesome bash it appears your head is better than every other one Ive seen lol.

Maybe different rules, color included apply to yours ;) lol.

James dean cowboy has a sculpted neck and old wider shoulders and is very pale.

To me the rarest gem is the sculpted neck slim that came with Billie Jean MJ.

True, the James Dean has it, but as you mentioned it's wider on the shoulders and with pale skin. Changing the arms with the shoulders and tanning the neck would work for Indy though.

I found the 3rd figure I was talking about. It's the Ishikawa Goemon figure from the same series as Saizo:

So here's the breakdown of Hot Toys narrow bodies with sculpted neck (as far as I know):

Ezio https://www.sideshowtoy.com/?page_id=4489&sku=900995&ref=search&&900995
Saizo Kirigakure https://www.sideshowtoy.com/?page_id=4489&sku=900487&ref=search&&900487
Ishikawa Goemon https://www.sideshowtoy.com/?page_id=4489&sku=900455&ref=search&&900455#!prettyPhoto[product_gallery]/1/

Thanks Commtech, thats very helpful.:clap

My pleasure, Rory!

Has anyone discussed the possibility of Bruce lee? As is it is a weird assumption but under the clothes it might be ok? The ht head is really tiny.

That was one of the first bodies I tried. I was excited and really wanted this body to work but it's too short and the clothes looked huge and baggy.

Yeah, I could't see the Bruce body being a good choice. I think Soldier store is very good option and more affordable than the HT ones.
