1/6 Indy Customizations: Image Thread

Not sure I want to post mine after seeing Commtech's ! That is Indy ! Very nice. Have you done anything to the paintwork at all ? It looks far different to what we've seen previously. I'd love one of Kato's shirts, it looks the business !

Thanks for the kind words Guys, I wasn't sure whether to post it or not. The fedora looks to be a bit on the big side. It is two of the spare SS fedoras with the lining taken out . I cut the top half from one and removed not quite half from the other to get the stovepipe look. I changed the angle of the front to match some stills from the movie and put a band on that looked the correct height.

i was going to try that so im glad you did so i could see it. i think the raiders look was a bit big so i think it looks very cool! the ht fedora looks closer to the tod and lc. anyways im going to do this

I still think this the BEST Indy I've seen. Kinda disappointed with the Hot Toys version.

Hi Paul, how have you put the sideshow fedora on his head?

I just carved a little bit of the inside away until I got the fit I wanted. The two "halfs" I just glued together , added a little bit of filler and painted it up with a band stuck to it. ( something I learned from my good friend Les Walker )

Its a lot easier than you'd think. Unfortunately though I don't have any plans to take a mould from this. I got a hard time from some guys a while ago and decided that I wouldn't put myself in that position again. I'm sure that some enterprising fella will come up with something very soon ! ( The hat on a certain custom above mine looks far better ! )

I popped the HT Aldens on my Indy bash last night. Not only do they look fantastic, but they give the figure an extremely solid stance. Very happy with them.

Cheers Ed. I was happy with the HT pants until I saw yours wearing the Kato pants. Now I think I'm going to have to strip them of my CS bash and move them over to this one. Yours looks amazing too.
