You know what, as soon as a discussion like this happens on SSFreaks all these things disappear from ebay! I'm convinced of it.
There were several cheap Ezio bodies last night, and now they are all gone!

:( but :lol

Patience, bro. Some should pop up eventually. You just gotta keep an eye open with all the new Indy owners looking for one.

Yeah, I could't see the Bruce body being a good choice. I think Soldier store is very good option and more affordable than the HT ones.

I had two of then on order from TA but cancelled them when I found out you would have to mod them to get the HT hands and Boots to fit. :dunno

Its not too bad; takes a few extra pieces... but definitely doable.

Ah! I just remembered that TTL makes sculpted neck bodies, very similar to the narrow TTs. And someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the true type neck, hands and feet adaptors match perfectly.

They do, but problem is the neck is pretty scrawny so your mileage may vary. I personally wouldn't use it for Indy.

Stop it!

Every time one of you makes a suggestion I check it on eBay, by the time I've found it, one of you has remembered why its crap!:lol:rotfl:gah:

Which soldier story body would work best for Indy as far as being able to accept Indys Head and Feet without much modifaction .

I just got my reapinated SS Indy head from Snyderman today and I just need to figure out what is the best reasaonable priced body to use ?

I'll be using all of the SS Indy clothes except for the jacket and got a custom whip a few weeks ago.

I think all of the Soldier story bodies are the same. Not positive though since I've only owned one and it was on a custom figure someone else made so I can't be 100% sure it was stock.

I'm pretty sure the newer Soldier Story bodies have narrower shoulders and use hands that resemble the HotToys hands. But other than that.. not really any difference.

It was the feet and ankles that made me change my mind. Totally different from Hot Toys. I was afraid the HT boots would fit.

I just shaved down one side of a HT ankle joint to the point that it would fit in the ankle socket of the Soldier Story body... then other end just plugs into the boots. A little bit of work, but pretty easy with a dremmel.

There may be an easier method, but that's what worked for me.

All this Indy explosion talk in the HT thread and here has made me take a new look at my own custom and repose my Indy which I haven't done in a while...and take some awful pics for you to not enjoy. Cheers!
