1/6 Indy Customizations: Image Thread

Seeing this made me put the movie on just now . Excellent work! I like the colour of the shirt. Was there any particular dye that you used for this ?

Here's a few more pics of my Temple of Doom Indy. i have a lot to do yet, dirty his face, add blood etc. I started on the shirt as well, first color change. Cut the sleeve off, and started to distress it. But I have a lot to do with it yet.. All WIP (I still haven't taken off his guyliner!)

Fantastic work, Rorywan. I'm starting to think that lightening the beard brings out HF more in the sculpt. These shots make the sculpt look great, and it seems like the beard is actually lighter. Maybe the shading that the beard paints create is what is throwing off the sculpt by playing tricks on your eyes.

This is my attempt on my Indy head. I have used the trick of remove the guyliner and then I have repainted it

Thank you very much Marf! I have to say, I never took photography lessons! I try to shoot my first figure in 2008 and try to do my best to improve my skill everyday
I had little knowledge in photoshop, it was useful!

Let's get some sideshow heads back into this thread

Switched over my Indy from the saturday toys body to a TT narrow now that I got the HT shoes today. Just wanted to snap a pic. Waiting for a couple of hands for the finishing touches, but it's pretty much done...until better things come along

And here's my Map Room Indy. I just need to get a move on already and get the head re-painted, but I like how the rest looks and I'm happy with it. Just waiting on the HT journal to complete him.

Those look great to me marker2037! I have the Sideshow ROTLA exclusive Indy figure too! I'm doing the same thing you are. I am getting in the HT Map Room outfit soon. I'll put the "hatless" Indy head on a figure and do a Map Room Indy custom. Trevor Grove's awesome Indy head sculpt is really harmed by Sideshow's poor paint application! I want to get both of my SS Indy heads repainted by someone on here someday soon.

Thanks. Yea I have been putting off getting the hatless head repainted. Need to do that soon.

And yes, I still think trevor's ss sculpt is the best option out there, minus the limited shrunken pf head. Hopefully we can get some more options to us soon, but personally, I don't like the HT head. There have only been a handful of pictures taken where I can see some Ford in it. And even then, I'm struggling.
