1/6 Indy Customizations: Image Thread

Can anyone please confirm for me, are ACI bodies compatible with Hot Toys heads/hands/feet? I have never used an ACI body, but found one that might work well for a custom I am considering.

Shrunken headed Indy looks weird...real weird. But I am curious to see if Small Studios can bring out the Ford and leave out the Cro-Magnon look in that recast. Dane post pics as soon as you get your head. That Indy build deserves the best!

Has Josh painted one of these before? I've only seen RMF & Boot's painted heads. I wonder what Trevor thinks, has anyone shrunken the TOD pf head?

You know, that looks very good. But I think sometimes it's the posture people put the SS in that makes Indy look a little slumped and sad.

I've often thought the Indy sculpt from Sideshow has just a touch of a sad expression.

I was thinking the same thing. He looks like his dog just died or something. The whole neutral expression thing kind of sucks. I wish Trevor could do one more along the lines of the Stormtrooper Han Solo. That one is awesome compared to the Smuggler Han. Would love to see any Indy with similar character to his expression.

So I posted this on the other thread, here are my close to final beard revisions, At first I went for a thicker beard like so

But the problem was when I looked at it, yesterday during the day, It looked so odd and I actually lost the likeness . That was so frustrating, so I had to redux the beard with a lighter look .

Not hating Deak. I like the sculpt just fine (and you are right, the paint apps utterly destroy Trevor's fine work), just saying that the expression does look like he is sad. No reflection on Trevor, I think I remember hearing that LFL mandated neutral expressions on SW and Indy sculpts (though that could just be rumor). Anyway, look at the Smuggler Han vs the Stromrooper Han. Both are definitely HF, but the Stormtrooper Han has so much more character to it. Smuggler Han kind of has a zombie look to him. Same can be said for the KOTCS Indy, looks much more "alive" than ROTLA Indy's blank stare. Reminds me of those old timey photos where no one smiled and just stared blankly at the camera.

Yeah, and I said compared to Smuggler Han, not HT Indy.

Also, didn't say it was more "lifelike", just said it has "more life" to it than Smuggler Han.

So I'm getting there with my custom TOD Indy. I have been putting blood and scars on his face. Anyone got any good ref pics for his face, cuts/dirt bruises? I know he has the little scratches on his cheeks and a spilt lip.
I have the famous publicity shots obviously..
