Rory.. go to www.theraider.net and cruise through the collection of screen shots from TOD.. you will find all the reference photos you need there for ANY of the Indy films..

Thanks Man! Excellent link!
:hi5:

So progress report: I have painted his hat (I like the way it looks darker in some of TOD). I have started painting a machete, I have a better one coming soon. I did a first dye job on his pants and shirt. I started painting his scars and dirt on his face (Now I will check with the site Mike suggested before going any further), you need tiny tiny brushes to do this properly! and I have been experimenting with varnish solutions to make his clothing look wet and sweaty. I fixed his eyes and I have started modding the sideshow bag..

These are all WIP pics with an iphone so not the greatest...

While I understand that the 'smirking Han Solo' sculpt appears to be laughable with the SS paint apps, here's what small_studios was able to do with mine to really bring out the sculpt.

The Han looks solid, but Luke looks like he's hungover or is that how Mark looked like after his accident filming Corvette Summer. :slap

Wow!
Now this looks much more like Indy!

Amazing how the paint apps really change the way the sculpt looks.

Luke looks like he has the flu! It's probably the pic and the flash, but he seriously looks about to sneeze! LOL

Looking good Rory! What machete do you have coming? Just wondering because the one that came with the Relic Hunter figure is pretty close to the real thing (and real metal), more so than a typicl machete.

Here's mine:

And a shot of the prop replica:

now thats indy the gloss on here is that just water or did you put gloss on him

You know, that looks very good. But I think sometimes it's the posture people put the SS in that makes Indy look a little slumped and sad.

I've often thought the Indy sculpt from Sideshow has just a touch of a sad expression.

I was thinking the same thing. He looks like his dog just died or something. The whole neutral expression thing kind of sucks. I wish Trevor could do one more along the lines of the Stormtrooper Han Solo. That one is awesome compared to the Smuggler Han. Would love to see any Indy with similar character to his expression.

I don't think he looks sad personally. No expression, yes but not sad. But that is also not a pose. I just put him standing there so you could see and entire finished bash. I'll take a pic of a pose later tonight.

I have one of my HT's Indy Figures I just got from Sideshow for sale. No longer planning to display Cairo Indy. $260 shipped. PM me if interested.
