SS head on the HT clothed and geared body...

I don't think it looks half bad, and that's with the original factory paint. Imagine a repaint. Solves any scale issue (which I didn't even notice until now).

I never would have thought for a moment it would look that good, just tried it and...wow. Hmmmm....

Regarding the body types. I have to say Commtechs pictures earlier in this thread looked amazing. That was the full Kato/M.Fisher gear on a HT Goemon body. I was stunned by it. It made an un-modded HT Indy look like a million dollars. I have now got a full KTo outfit, an almost full M.Fisher setup ( and TOD set) and I'm waiting on a Goemon body. I will do a proper comparison when I have everything inhand.

Then I'm gonna mod it. I think I was the first one to suggest putting red washes on the face and doing some textural changes. But i think a few people have gone a little crazy ( you know who I'm talking about ) we are gonna get some sunburnt, down and out Indys posted. But you know what. I whined about this release before I got it, but we have gotten so much fun out of it, its been great. I got Sparrow dx a few days ago, it's amazing, but perfect out of the box. So it's stayed in the box.

Kit bashing is fun..

For those who are interested, here's a natural outdoor lighting pic that I took showing the HT muscle body wearing the Kato jacket, shirt and pants. Next to it - I've put the HT clothes onto a slim build "Goemon" body. To me - the Goemon body is TOO slim and looks like the clothes are oversized for it.
The colours in these pics are pretty representative of how the colours appear in person (at least they look correct on my computer screen).

I don't think that's a fair comparison shot. Looks like you didn't even try to make those clothes look good on the Goemon body (which is not slim, but narrow). And the absence of proper futzing, hands, feet and hat don't help either. Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to argue or anything negative. Did you try the Kato clothes on the Goemon body? How come they look good on mine? Here's my picture again:

If there's something wrong with my picture that would be the underscaled head which is common with Hot Toys' figures (but I've kind got used to them by now).
Ultimately, to each their own. If people are happy with the muscular body, great, since you don't have to spend more money or time changing it.

Hey guys, quick question, should this body work with the HT clothes and shoes? I have a custom head i want to use which already has a neck so this neck post will work, but dont know about the size or articulation. Any ideas?

No, not each to their own Commtech, those pics of Indy you posted have set a template for how good this set can look. Amazing!

The muscle body is not the correct scale for the head. End.

I have to ask, where can you get that goeman body, I always looking on ebay and found nothing, is that the correct term for it, please help me out

Agree with Rory and commtech here. That was totally not a fair comparison shot! I need to now post pics of my unmodded HT on the goamon body for a fair comparison that actually does it justice!

Please somebody tell me what this goamon body is, I can't find it anywhere, what's the actual body called:monkey4 :(

Thanks Commtech, but $400 for an ugly looking figure, just to get the body, i'll have to think about that. :slap

I meant just the bodies. A couple of freaks found the just the bodies on ebay recently. Yes, expensive at $70-$80, but at least not the whole $400 figure like you said. Good Luck!:)
