In hands it looks better, ijust took the pic late last night and with a blue light.
I will try to take better pics.

That could well be the problem man, I know what cold light does in photographs.

The paint isn't finished yet also.
Need to redo the hair and weather the hat and maybe add a little more beard.

I mean I can see how good the paintwork is, and well done to all involved. But it looks a little 'dead-corpse' Indy to me.

I was thinking the same thing, only not deadcorpse. It's a great paintjob, but he looks like he should be on Hoth. Just looks a little cold.

I actually like the factory paint job, that's why I tried not to strip it completely, the issue I'm having with my new or 2nd Indy is trying to cover the gap in the mouth, anybody got any ideas, that's the one obstacle in my way right now, Rory I could use some help

I think it looks GREAT Seb!THe lighting is what could be the culprit here.Personally,i like the facial tone that Hot Toys painted on the Indy sculpt so IMO there is no need to wipe the slate clean.THere's alot of TREMONDOUS mods done in this thread,WOW!I just hope i can make mine look as good as all the ones here!^_^

Hey everyone. . .I'm new to the forums. I have to say WOW. Some of the repaints, and custom sculpts in this forum are AMAZING! Really some of you guys out there need to work for SS

Question, and sorry if this isn't right thread for this. . .but, I'm looking for the Crystal Skull Indiana SS head sculpt with hat. Can anyone tell my where to get one? Or, does anyone have a spare I could purchase? I'm about to make my first Indie purchase. . .going for the SS Raiders Indie becasue I really wanted the gloves, adn the younger look, but honestly I love the aged Indie sculpt. I appreciate any input. Thanks Guys!

Okay, I'm soooo close to getting my Indy #2 the way I want it too, I'm still working on that pesky gap between the lips, so frustrating arrrgh! but here's some pics on the status.

I think I'm going with this tone for the lip and I'm going to add flesh to it later, add more sweat maybe, still debating, I'm trying again not to lose the essence of Ford, but it's sometimes impossible.

Excellent news.... glad these are showing up for everyone... I worked my tail off over Thanksgiving getting them all out ! Just to advise for those interested.. just bought a new craft machine that makes stencils in any scale... sooo... I will be building custom real wood crates with accurate font stencils to replicate the KOTCS warehouse pieces for really sharp KOTCS figure displays... stay tuned... been wanting to do these for some time now.. am really amped to knock a few out to show here at the board..

Hey Guyver,it looks good but a small suggestion lighten the tone on the lip cause it looks like he bit it and it started to bleed.Besides that it looks really good!^_^

Definitely looking good, Guyver. Just soften that bloody lip and you're good. Amazingly striking Ford likeness you got out of that.
