Yeah, as long as someone is happy then it's not game over for WGP. I'm not holding my breath, but, who knows, even I might like it.....

Yeah, that looks good. BUt it would have to be modded. But then again maybe not by much. Just shave the hair down to fit a hat. I'll keep an eye on this. I dunno, I learned my lesson with WGP. Im not buying any more Indy sculpt unless Im damn happy with the likeness after painted. It's too much money to buy a sculpt, get it painted and then possibly modded if that be the case.

Speaking on the WGP sculpt though, I really think it's the expression. I don't like it. It's weird. INdy made tense facial expressions even stern( maybe I'd have to check) but this just doesn't work for me.

Also bbkill's Deckard might work (there are two Deckards being done at the same time by different people, I postd the other one earlier)... I know, more computer sculpts!

Change the hair, add stubble and stick a hat on it and I'm there! He just has to hire the best caster in the world and we might get some results from this one.

I'm excited!:yess:

Still Happy with this guy! :)

I need to get some updated pics...

Still wondering if we will ever see another HT Jones...I fear its pretty unlikely now.

Id love to see Enterbay do a HD 1:4 Indy though. If they put as much care and love into it as they did their BD T-800 It could be an impressive piece.

FWIW, bbkill/Chu did the WGP Indy.

And boy, if his Deckard turned out better than the Indy. . . that would be a real kick in the shorts.

Hmm..you know what? I'm not getting excited about CG sculpts anymore. The WGP sculpt looked great on screen too, but thing is the CG lighting and shading gives an unrealistic depiction of what will eventually be printed? There seems to be a lot of potential for inaccuracy when translated into physical 3D sculpts (and not just WGP, I've seen similar problems elsewhere) Nope, I'm gonna wait to see some old fashioned in hand sculpts before I get my hopes up again. :dunno

Would love a great Deckard sculpt, though. I have velvet morning's Rachael and Batty sculpts and most of his Deckard but it's not as good as the others IMO.

Agree, especially in Raiders. Mostly a smirk or a PO'd look 90% of the film

I much prefer a neutral expression on my figure to enhance posing possibilities but not with Indy I don't think. You're right, a smirk is the way to go. I know that now.

Sideshow Indy prototype at Comic Con years ago. Wonder if Silentsurfer did the paint. This was before I was into 1/6 but jeez people who PO'ed based on the pics must have been p^ssed when the actual fig arrived. Look at the paint on that hat compared to production piece.

Whoa. :lol. Disappointment wouldn't have been the word.

Lookin' good Rzezzy. I see Ford in this pic particularly. A funny thing that HT sculpt.

Yeah man the actual figure was a let down on multiple levels.... Floppy lifeless body, prehistoric paint apps and a leather type jacket I wouldn't let my daughter's Ken doll wear.. Top it off with a mia head and hands from a painter who went off the reservation, it has been a fun filled 4 year project to say the least !! LOL !

The sculpt might not be perfect but as a whole this looks great. Good enough till something better comes along.

As for HT sculpt, no matter how much I try I can't see any likeness to Ford or Indy in it, despite the work done by folks here to improve it.

I think that's Feng's work from a while back, only a hand-full were offered. A little on the caricature side (as is the case with most of his work), but still awesome.

I'd bet dollars to donuts that's Fengs, has his style written all over it.

And I'm about 99% sure that the proto for Indy was not Silent Surfer; one it doesn't look like his style and I think it was shown before he began his tenure with Sideshow.

But, still a let down when the figure came out. At the time there was some initial excitement as Sideshow was using a cast-in-color head. but that quickly faded as that color was yellow and the supporting paint work was crap :lol

I've been pretty fortunate in the price of my custom; I've sold off/or will sell off pieces from the Sideshow and HT I didn't want and gotten pretty good deals on the Sovereign jacket and Ezio body. So when it's all said and done I'm under $200 out of pocket cost to have an Indy I'm very happy with.
