Indy is so iconic and instantly recognisable that when something is off, it stands out a country mile

Let's remind ourselves of the genuine article:

That is Indiana Jones and I have yet to truly see that in 1/6 form.

I think we all know by now what he's suppose to look like, and yes we all know the sculpt is off(that drum has been beaten to death for long enough). I like many others still enjoy the figure, overall it's a great box set for what you get and even with a few small mods(as seen on this thread)you can elevate it to something that looks better

Finished! Repainted the foreams and upper chest of the Banner body today and just finshed the sculpt paint as well. Thanks for looking guys! Hope you like it IndianaPaul!

Getting close to the perfect indy can be done. That should be sent to HT HQ and just tell them to copy it and i for one would be happy evermore:)

Sorry. I was being a smart ass saying the custom looks similar to Pratt. Think it's cos he looks a little ginger. The pic I attached has been knocking around the net for a few months following rumours Disney want Pratt for an Indy revival.

I know, i was being a smart ass right back:) We all see different things at the end of the day but that's the best 1/6 indy i've seen by anyone. And they can't seriously be thinking of casting pratt,he's just all wrong for the role and has zero charisma

What a couple of jerks! Lol

Zero charisma is a bit harsh, but let's face it whoever they cast is going to fall short.

Completely agree with you there:hi5: Ford is my fav actor and forever will be indy. The only way i could see a reboot working would be to see it taken in a different direction, like they did with the bond franchise. I loved craigs take on bond straight away because it was new, different and i think brilliant(fav bond with connery). No point in casting someone similar to ford,i think it would bomb, needs to go with someone completely different

Rahmier did a great job on that head, there's no doubt about that, but, you would think there would be a commercially available one that good by now. Who knows, maybe SSC will deliver!? I've seen pics of the Hoth Han and he would look quite nice with better paint.

That's the most frustrating thing, like you say we really should have an indy figure as good as that available by now,he's so iconic! The SS one looks very promising but if their going to mess around with that awful eye system there now using it's doomed. I've seen the pics of hoth han and for me it's just another bland caricature. Even with a nice repaint those eyes can't be saved. Eagle eyed action man was done better than that:)

Yeah, it's not PERS and it's not terribly good either. Only Enterbay did well with that system when they did their 24 figures. With SSC, it means compromising a sculpt to fit a gimmick just like PERS. They need to drop it an concentrate on the sculpting.

While I respect the guys talent and artistry, and no doubt it will look phenomenal there's no way I'd pay those kind of prices for just a headsculpt. Fortunately for him, sure there will be plenty of others willing to do so. Good luck to them.
