hey guys, im trying to switch my indy over to a soldier story body cause of the sculpted neck and such. All though the arms look a tad longer then the jacket, the real problem is getting the feet on. For those that did tthis switch, how did you attack them?

for the arms I shortened them by cutting of about 4-5mm and for the I drilled a small hole and then used thin metal rods to keep the feet in place on one of my solder story figs. For the other I used teh soldier stort feet and used hasbro's indy shoes they lookreally good when painted.

I couldn't figure how to swap the feet over and make them work on the Soldier Story body either, so I just weathered up a pair of the Hasbro shoes and used them. They're really nice with a bit of drybrushing.

today was a bad day, i broke the buckle of the web belt, need a new one now, anyone know were to get a good one?
im not a fan of the ss one

thanks

Doh! Sorry, I appear to have left my brain on a bus.

The Relic Hunter web belt is pretty good and Hong Kong seller 7toys7 sometimes sells the trousers and belt on ebay.

i have sent a pm already for the gun belt, they do look good.

thanks, i will check them out, i just had some stuff in the post from 7toys7,

thanks:D

Hey guys.. for the web belts.. check the loose parts dealers or ebay for the web belt from Did's WW2 figure "Charles Winstone"... perfect ww2 web belt (tan).. so it is good for all the films but raiders.. but painting it brown is a cinch..

My updated Raiders mod nothing special. Sorry the pics are so dark but I find it does help show the sweatstain better. Getting kinda used to him in the Cairo appearance.

Quick question - has anyone put their Indy on a Hot Toys NARROW SHOULDER body and if so, what does it look like? I've currently got mine on a Truetype and was thinking of getting the narrow shoulder but I thought the head might look a bit big on it - can anyone tell me if it works, preferably with pics? Thank you.

I believe most of the customs shown off including mine have all had the narrow shoulder body used. It does look quite a bit better. Here's a quick and horrible pic I took of mine.

I posted a customisation of Indy without hat using a Soldier Story body way back in this thread after repainting both of the Indy sculpts. I only recently bought a few narrow shoulder True Types and some more Indy clothing to use the head with hat sculpt for a permenant display figure. Below are a few pics.
