Thanks for posting the pics Tyler and Sniper 33, Indy does look better with narrow shoulders. Nice looking repaints too.

Totally awesome Tyler. Is that hat Sideshow's? Did you pad the body? If I may make one small suggestion, it would be the paint the neck and hands as well.

Also, LOVE Life on Mars (I take it that's where you Avatar comes from)

Thank you very much. It is sideshow's Indy head and clothing. The body is a narrow True Type. Also I did add padding to body on chest and stomach area untill the shirt looked like it was a good fit instead of a loose fit. I will get round to colouring the neck and hands some time even if just the neck.

Yeah it is Sam Tyler from Life on Mars. It was my favourite program when it was on. I didn't like the spin off called Ashes to Ashes though.

Cheers

Thanks. It is the longer neck from the Dark Knight figure. I should have mentioned that before, but forgot to. I feel it looks more natural with the longer neck.

I've used the long neck too, was very lucky to score one after the Dark Knight figure was no longer being regularly parted out. It looks great but they seem impossible to find now. I wish Hot Toys would produce them again.

I know you can find some on ebay...but I wish too that hot toys would produce more

If you check post 1418 in the thread below you can see my method.

It is simply tissue paper folded to the desired thickness that is layered over the torso in the desired areas and taped over to hold in place. Being carefull not to have visable tape or tissue at open neck area of shirt. Obviously the Indy padding is not as thick as the Terminator one in the link above. The Indy shirt is your guide to how much padding you can add. Just keep placing the shirt on the figure to see if it is to loose or to tight. I mainly consentrated on chest and stomach area. I did not add anything to arms or lower legs on the Indy figure. I can't take a photo of it without shirt to show you as I removed the poppers and glued the shirt closed because I don't like to see poppers on my figures.

Hope this helps.

hey all

here is my indiana jones

the head is sideshow (will be getting it repainted one day)
the body is a solider story with molded neck
shirt is medicom, i moved the buttons onto the other side of the shirt
the jacket is also medicom, and is weathered (i have got a sovereign studios jacket on order)
the web belt is sideshow and modified
the leather belt and holster is sideshow (also have mfishers belt and holster on order)
bag is sideshow
trousers are also sideshow
and the boots are from a ww2 charles winstone figure

thanks :whip

All you have to do is pry the little round plug inside Indy's head out, then pry the the neck plug out of the head that comes with the Soldier Story body (assuming it still had the head) and glue that inside Indy's head.

I've pretty much completed my 'ultimate Indy' figure so I'm now selling some of the surplus items. Over in the commerce section I've posted links to some ebay auctions I've currently got listed for 1/6 Indy stuff - notably a genuine Toys McCoy leather jacket, custom leather belt and roo-hide whip, some newline Alden boots and a Sideshow Indy lot that features most of the outfit and accessories.
