We appreciate everyone’s patience today as we experienced a technical issue with one of our servers, which gave many collectors an error message as they attempted to place their Obi-wan pre-orders. Our long time collectors are aware that today’s issue is not indicative of a normal PPO event, however new collectors may not and for this we apologize.

Although errors like this cannot be predicted, we were able to assist those collectors hindered by the particular malfunctioning server via our local and toll free phone numbers, fax and customer service e-mail address, all of which appear in your Priority Pre-order Obi-wan e-mail as alternate avenues of communication. This information also appears in our weekly newsletters as well. Any collectors who e-mailed our webmaster directly were also given alternate ways to place their orders with us.

Again, we apologize for any issues that the technical glitch caused our Star wars collectors. Please note that we will be awarding rewards points to all Obi-wan phone orders placed due to the server issues. Anyone who missed placing a pre-order is encouraged to sign up for our wait list, they do work!

I just posted a thank you in my customs thread, as todays efforts on the parts of so many, made things so much better for so many others.
Everyone gets a lot of credit today.
I am proud to be a member here,, and to share in some meager part of the comraderie, since, even after I showed my anger, and my butt :lol , still, help was on the way for me and others in similar straits.

You guys are all super! :duff

Ehhhhh, did anybody phone-ordering Obi today already receive the confirmation mail with the "T" number in it, or, does it appear in your account? Not here. How long does it usually take? It's my first phone order you see.... :fest
 
I'm just glad to see that everyone who was there 'at the coal face' got one.

There were a few people really going the extra mile today. I personally would like to thank Tom for the direct links.

It WAS great to the Freaks helping each other out although this does happen a lot more than is normally noticed. Days like today though push it right to the front.

I'm sorry I couldn't help anyone but the speed the posts were moving meant my offers to help were whizzing by faster than folks could see 'em and I couldn't miss rehearsal so couldn't stick around longer.

Wasn't today AWECORE!!!!!!!!!?

This item is estimated to ship during our 4<sup>th</sup> Quarter which will be anytime in October, November or December of 2008.

I was wondering what was up today... now I get home and read this thread and realize that I was not the only one.

I normally sneak my purchase in and buy while at work, being very careful not to get caught...:lol

And I kept trying, thinking it was the stupid work computer... You should have seen me scramble. It was really really "stress inducing".... So I gave in and made my first phone order.

I must have snuck outside and dialed that number a million times, but man was I ever happy to finally get in after about 40 minutes of trying here and there. The girl I spoke with was obviously stressed (as I would have been... I know... I work at a medical office...doing the same phone game...all day long), but thankfully she was very helpful and got my order in.

Anyway, thanks Chicky for keeping us informed. You guys are really the best, we are lucky be collectors of SSC stuff. And the Freaks here... best group of people online anywhere. I'm proud to be here with you all. :rock
 
I got mine quite easy I dont know what the fuss was about. I pulled my phone out opened the browser waited a min (which is normal when I have a bead signal) page opened up, logged in got my order in maybe 2 min total which is good for ordering via my phone browser.
