I know I have a serious shelf space issue, but until I find a better place, I believe he's in good company!

Also posting a couple of closeup shots for those who are curious on the head sculpt quality (although flash could hinder a few sculpt details). I was positively surprised by how good he looks...

Huge shout out to Onesixthkit. I ordered this last Friday (the 18th) and received it today (the 20th). I really didn't expect it so soon.

Anyway, I just messed around with him, and this is a great figure! The lights are BRIGHT, but it's still a cool feature. I wish there were more hands and a snoopy hat clean shave face. But all in all, great figure, great value. He poses really well and really easily too, a very natural looking figure.

Got mine today as well, and have to agree it's an impressive figure overall. And the suit looks pretty darn good in hand, even if I can see lots of things that need modding (like adding those missing hoses on his left side).

Unfortunately the beardless sculpt just doesn't seem usable, as it's way oversized and too much of a caricature with that huge chin they gave him. The bearded sculpt is much better, but it's not the look I really want for this character, so guess I'm gonna have to try one of those ebay sculpts instead.

I tried the helmet but it just looked too goofy on him, so don't think I'll be using that.

Aye, just got mine in and like the clean-shaven look as well. I also think he looks kinda dumb with the helmet on.

Well I caved and ordered. This will be my first 1:6 in three years. I dumped my whole collection years ago l and decided I would just get 70s-80s horror icons if they were made. I absolutely love this film and years ago wanted to go down the path of a custom but it was towards the end of my customs days and I never got around to it. I was hoping to pick this up from a US retailer but have not found any so order from KGHobby.
The beanie Space Pirate head is fine but that's not the movie for me. Debating on hacking the two heads up and merging. Unless I can find a good mat Damon digital head I can modify.

I went down the digital Damon head route, and found nothing suitable.

The only one I found that was remotely close was the AliExpress version. Could repaint that to look better.

I'm continuing to work on the helmet scaling.

Got a slightly bigger one printing.

I'm going to need to print this in parts to apply paint and decals easier.
