It doesnt look like Anya Taylor Joy, but the price and accessories it comes with is nice. Looks like a cool figure to display regardless.

Agreed. Likeness isn't so important for me now, though with the cheekbones she looks more like Anya than Charlize, but it's enough that she looks like Furiosa. Plus she'll be in scale with the other characters unlike the VTS.

(While 2024 Furiosa shows her losing her arm in her late twenties, I still like the idea of keeping the VTS as a teen version of her because, other than height, it's a really well made figure).

So basically a re issue with a slightly new sculpt.

At least the small body would make sense this time.

Add a cloak and that about all that's new then?

Yeah there's not exactly a ton of Anya in this sculpt, which would be my main reason to pick up another Furiosa. Although I admit the figure does look quite cool with the hood and goggles on.

It's primarily the scale that makes the Premier an improvement over VTS.

There are some costume differences such as the trousers and the extra anklet, though I'm not sure she actually had one on her right boot in Furiosa.

I found my original photos of the VTS showing how tiny she is:

Ironically, at 29cm the Premier is too tall for Anya but she will at least look like an adult Furiosa alongside the others.

With today's announcement I took the VTS off the taller base and put her on a regular black oval, since she can legitimately become 'teen Furiosa'. (To hell with canon!)

The inclusion of the LeMat revolver is another selling point for me. It'll likely end up on a Civil War or western figure, though Premier seem to have modelled it on the Denix replica used in the film - Denix are the Spanish makers of cheapo, pot metal display pieces:

I rebuilt my old Furiosa to solve the height but I was never happy with the head so I've never displayed her...

This one at least looks like it will be displayable... so I'm in... but I may wait until release to actually purchase her. I might just need the head.

I did the Phicen body swap and was very happy with the outcome, shes a bit thinner but CT body is kinda blocky in that film.

Premier has really impressed me with Wez and Joe , especially Joe. That was such a one off figure with zero pre faced parts....its really impressive.

I do suppose this gives Premiere a chance to double-dip on their Joe.

I would get Dementus. And I've wanted a People Eater since the first film. Excellent disgusting figure for the shelf.

NGL I completely forgot this film was out, how was it?
Loved Fury Road but I feel like this one wasn't advertised as much over here.
