Re: 1:6 "Out-A-Time Kid" headsculpt

That is a shame that it's tough to find a tailor. Surely some talent will turn up!

Castings should be ready to go for my 1985 Marty. I'll start getting in touch with folks this evening.

This is strictly for the hardcore BTTF fans, but I'm also going to release an alternate hairstyle to better match Marty's 2015 look, as well as a "Clint Eastwood" version (with hat) for 1885. :) Just some options for folks.

Later!

Re: 1:6 "Out-A-Time Kid" headsculpt

The parts to bash Marty (a while back) had to disappear to somewhere, I'm anxious to know who snatched them up and has a headless bash waiting!

The absence of a tailor to do this sculpt justice, and provide a clothing solution to some additional collectors is a straight-up 1/6 travesty. I honestly can't believe that one hasn't jumped right on this, with a character this iconic, and a sculpt this phenomenal.

There is a serious lack of Tailors on here i know, luckily we do have Kato probably the best tailor there is, but still just one man!:(

It might we worth tracking down tailors outside of this site and making them aware of the demand for clothing for this character, say the guy who did stark industries joker coat, while not as accurate as Kato's it was beautifully made and demonstrated the guys skill well, just an example of one of many 1/6 tailors that i'm sure are out there.

Hey folks!
This hasn't been molded yet, but I should have him ready by October. Please be patient with me. :D I'm always at the mercy of my work schedule.

This is a personal project I've been trying to finish all year. He'll have a companion too, but that sculpt is still rough for the time being.

I'll start taking down names, but I haven't decided all of the details of how this will be released.

Thanks for looking!

Looks amazing. But unless MarfMaster wants to sell me his bash, I'll just admire this one from afar.

I've had a passable life jacket for awhile, the hardest thing to get is the checkered shirt. I had to go with something similar, but not quite there. The rest was easier to put together. I hope to get most of it in the mail soon, but I'd love for them to fit better on the slim body. Also the sequels will be harder to get outfits for.

Re: 1:6 "Out-A-Time Kid" headsculpt

Yeah, I think I will go for whatever look I can put together, I like them all so I don't have an specific look. I wish it was the iconic "life preserver" look, but that is quite difficult to come by. :/

Do you mean these outfits?

Yep those ones. And Trevor is planning on even doing the versions with hats. So you should be able to get a sculpt for each move. Btw great job on the outfits.

Decided to take a crack at adding the denim pattern to my Marty bash's jacket. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

Thanks Hector :duff You're right, I'm looking for an entirely new pair altogether. I think I might get a pair of Kato's and give them a quick bleaching...but the thought scares me.

Wow that looks amazing! I wouldn't even change the jeans they look great! All you need is the head. How did you go about adding the dark denim patches after all?

Thanks Rogster :) I bought some dark denim iron-on patches, sanded off a majority of the glue that comes on them (it was making the material way to thick), cut the appropriate pieces, ironed them on carefully and viola!

fantastic stuff! Hopefully Marf's bash will inspire some tailors to help everyone out.

Thanks Trevor, I am on a mission to find a tailor that can bring Marty to the "masses." :lecture

Be warned; I bought a pair as they are the closest in design. They do, however, look a little large on a Slim TT, IMO. I had to go back to my customized Nike Tennis Classics. Plus the sculpted laces are a bit of a turn off.

Great job on the jacket, Marf. It looks a lot better.

Fusion is right about those shoes! I bought a pair, took one look at them and literally wanted to throw them in the garbage. Very disappointing. My suggestion would be to find a pair of 1/6 nikes on ebay that are similar in design, strip the paint, paint a base coat of white and add the red swoosh :rock

And thank you for the compliment :duff
