1/6 Scale Sideshow Bossk Figure

I also have Bossk PO and paid due to the more accurate headsculpt... but... and I don't want to cause hysteria, or pull the trigger too soon... from what I'm seeing, Bossk looks a bit on the dark side, and I don't mean like the force. His skin tone shade is looking strangely dark.

Skin tone on this one seems way too dark.

Really wish they would have updated the white bib on this figure to the new more accurate bibs seen on the Luke X and Luke Snowspeeder figs that have tighter tailoring and better scale.

Personally, I also wish they had included some non-articulated forearms to make him look closer to the movie. I find the wrist articulation to be distracting and a bit dated (like how they sacrificed accuracy on the IG so he could do spiderman poses.)

Hopefully a new better res video or pics will be posted soon - those live videos are always a bit grainy. So far, I'd agree his skintone looks noticeably too dark if they were trying to match the ESB scene's look with this release (which seems to have been the idea.)

Correct color seems to be somewhere in between v1 and 2. Also the head should be a bit more like v1 and arms and legs more like v2. Kenner actually wasn't that far off ;-)

Yeah, Kenner's color palate was pretty accurate on that one (certainly better than their Greedo.)

Even though they capture the characters well, it's amazing how simplistic the earlier Kenner SW fig sculpts were compared to later POTF figs like Amamaman or EV-9D9. If Gentle Giant does a Jumbo Amanaman or EV-9D9, they wouldn't be bad 1/6 figures with a repaint and some mods.

I am happy with how it looks in the video but I'll reserve judgment until I receive the figure. Color looks pretty close to me, maybe just a bit too dark but will have to see in person. At least I'm looking forward to getting this again.

Took these at NYCC today. I thought Bossk looked really good. But, SSC was unable to tell me if that was a proto or production figure. Zuckuss looks good, but too tall. Hopefully they'll change the body. And Han in Carbonite looked about the correct size. Maybe 5-10% too small, but not very noticeable. All the figures were displayed on platforms of different height, so it's difficult to judge the heights by these pics.

If that's the final Bossk, I will be extremely happy. He looks good to me.

Color in this pic looks better. All the others he looks noticeably too dark and not tan enough, almost a green/grey. Eyes also look too red - a bit too "Bug's life".
