YOU DON'T NEED TO SEE HIS IDENTIFICATION!

That is kinda creepy! :lol

Nice work on the animation... you did a nice job of getting a fluid movement :rock

Although if the mind control doesn't work, being sent into a seizure would do the trick :lol

NICE shots Trev!! :google

I still cannot get over this figure, the team at SSC really nailed it. Your sculpt is 100% there, no loss of detail at all. And the paint didn't suffer either, they did an OUTSTANDING job. I am very thankful for that, I won't get bombarded with Obi heads. :lol

Really though, I think it's my new favorite SSC figure ever.... Thank you Trev for giving us such a bad ass sculpt. :rock

This really is A1. A Faultless headsculpt and paint IMO and hopefully a sign of things to come from SS. Now if only we could get a new body and improved tailoring..... move over Medicom!!!

That moving shot is awesome!! It also really shows the paint well which is looking much better and I'm prepared to eat crow for being a little down on this figure.

Will his belt allow for extra ponch to be added? All the belts we've gotten so far have fit pretty snug against the buck bodies.

Awesome shots Trev.

MaulFan! Ben's belt is not snug at all, like Jedi Luke's belt was. The only thing holding it up is the 1/6 amount of the Force Trevor and the SS team built into the figure.

Also, Ben's belt has about 1/4-3/8 of an inch extra belt; meaning, the feed end of the belt doesn't just end at the buckle. You could probably put the fat suit from the SS Sgt Schultz on Ben, and there would be room for the belt.... not that Ben was as pudgy as Schultz. I'm just saying, there's lots of room for his belt to be widened. You'll have to take a pushpin or auger and make a new hole in the belt, but hey.... we all have to do that around the holidays, right?

I'll try to take a belt pic when my deadline's done, so you can see what I'm saying...

-AH!

Hope this helps!

It is snowing outside really hard and so far we got about 3 inches and just put in ANH in aniticipation of this old hermit. I cannot wait! I think I am more excited to get this guy than I was for Jabba.:lol

If you pop a hole further on the belt, then yes. The cummerbund on the other had has limits if you want it to snap shut. I added some padding to mine, and it wasn't enough to make a difference, but it did take it to the extent of cummerbund.

Can't give Trev and the rest of the SS crew that worked on Ol Ben enough praise. He looks incredible. I don't see anyone putting out a better version of this figure. Especially for the price.

I would put him up there with HT Endo Terminator and Medi Jango as best figures of the year.

If Obi-Wan is a sign of what's to come production wise, this line is about to explode.

That's a BIG if, Dave. But I'm with ya as are most of us, fingers crossed. New Bodies and consistently good paint apps/QC are the big issues SSC must overcome IMO.

hahaha! that animation IS very seizure inducing. It cracked me up...I didn't expect it to look so funky and creepy! :D

I can't wait for others to get their hands on a copy. it's a great piece

Thanks for the images Trev, beautiful stuff, but more so, thanks for the BREATHTAKING sculpt, if nothing else you've made me one very very happy Star Wars collector. I can't wait to photograph this figure, I'm going to have a ball :D
