Hangs better than SS's (i'm sure it could be weathered)Anyways the one that came with my obi don't look "beat up" it just looks frayed and a bad sewing job:lol

I love the way it hangs over the head.(for SS's to do that ya gotta work at it)
I may get one and try it out, also the cloaks look good may try one out with ep6 luke.

Great! :D Do I get a prize?

Hang in there Monk, fireside will do good by you.

He always has before. :rock I have faith. But it feels good to snivel about it. (Star Wars fan, you see...)

Actually, I just checked my bank account, and it turns out that Bob charged my credit card for Ben on last Friday. With any luck, I'll have him in-hand tomorrow.

I got both Ben and Leia yesterday , courtesy of Forbidden Planet and both are superb ! The Ben likeness is Sideshows best yet and "in hand " looks every bit as good as the proto pics . Hate to sound like a scratched record though , but the only problem is that damned body type ! Ben's trademark " thoughtful-beard -touching -hand" is a good idea , but infortunately , loose shoulder articulation makes this feature difficult to take advantage of . Also , the left elbow joint barely goes beyond 90 degrees , making posing of this arm also less than satisfactory ! ( A problem shared with my Bespin Luke ). Luckily I won't need to pose Ben in a dynamic action pose ! ( Until Vader comes along that is ).

thundergod, take the arm out of the sleeve so you can have a good look, then warm it up (hair dryer or even hot water)... then use some applied pressure. I've had this happen with several figures. Just be careful... dont burn yourself and dont apply too much pressure so it breaks... obviously!

The robe on my Obi-Wan is like that too. I've ordered one of the robes from d-art studios and will post some pics once it arrives.

I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me, if this is the glued-joint issue that I think it is. But thanks to some advice in the general section, I fixed all of them that I did not send back. Check the double joint at the elbow. If part of it is frozen, just force it to articulate. Don't apply the pressure slowly, do it with the intent of making the joint break free of the glue. I did it to 4 figures in 5 minutes and none broke. I found the heating to be un-necessary.

Got my old Ben today as well. And wow, Sideshow really did do a fantastic job on him!
Here's a pic, a bit cliché, but what the hell :D

I haven't heard anything from them either. I got the same notice on Jan 23rd saying he would ship within 7-10 days, 22 days ago. My order status hasn't changed and no response from my email either.

They have a very good reputation, and I feel quite secure that Ben will get here. It just sucks that its taking so long.
