Thats ok by me. Allows me to not worry about getting mine. Well, I did that yesterday but was easy enough.

WTF? You can't go by that. That's not a prop from the movie. It's a replica some company did, probably based on the same kinds of screen shots posted earlier.

as you said, there are no props from the movie... besides, e-fx would have had to have received Lucasfilm approval.

Decided against this and took the plunge and repainted a phase one I had.
Just don't have the space to justify another clone, unless it'd something stunning.

There are no clone related props from the movie, umm all CGI dude . Lucas LLC approved that helmet as an Accurate representation of the movie CGI and that is good enough for me.

On the subject of the possibility of ordering extras of these from Sideshow if they sit around long enough...I just secured permission from Sideshow to order a second Exclusive Flint from the GI Joe Line.


I hope the same can happen for the Commanders IF they sit around in the warehouse too long.

But honestly, I hope they don't. I still want to see all of the pieces of both of these lines sell through relatively quickly as that helps to give me confidence that the lines will be around for a long time.

Why all these requests for binoculars, but not the proper mirrored visor?

It'd be cool to see Sideshow think outside the box and out of left field and mirror the visor on one of these suckers somehow, instead of just straight repaints.

Very good point - & although it seems the horse has already bolted with this release, it begs the question; will they keep this in mind for Gree?? The mirrored visor is an INTEGRAL part of Gree's look, it's a clone I'm really looking forward to, & I'd be pretty disappointed if SSC neglected such an important detail.

Anyway, I've always liked the yellow Commander the most out of all the Phase 1 troopers. I just pre-ordered it through a local e-tailer, so I'm very pleased!

That's so weird, just checked my e-mail at about 12:45 and nuthin'. I come by this thread, read this post, went back and checked and lo and behold! It's just a repaint, but I'm actually really happy to have this guy coming - wheeee!
