actually they begin charging accounts on Monday 07/11 and Tuesday 07/12/2011 and shipping begins Wends, 07/13/2011. I was told though that today and tomorrow shipping will be prepairing to ship all SDCC Exclusive products over the next two days so everything can ship out
on Wends. the 13th.

Was told by SS that shipping begins today 07//15/2011 and everything
will be shipped by Monday 07/18/2011. They received alot of the SDCC exclusives without the shippers show they had to box everything themselves .

I'm on the fence with this one. I picked up the lieutenant with the intent that I'd get a white clone and just one of the colored clones. Then I picked up the sergeant when I saw the extra hands and feet.

What do you guys make of the fact this hasn't sold out after 6 weeks? How do they determine the edition size on a con exclusive? Will they just shut the order page down at the end of the con, or will it sit there until the predetermined run sells out? Will they take any unsold non-attendee allotment, put it on a truck, and try to sell more at SDCC?

Given the apparent lack of interest, it seems like maybe I could pick this up later for less. But being a con exclusive, I'm not sure that's realistic.

Got my shipping notice today, yeehaw! The Sargent is supposed to be green in color, but it's a pretty sickly yellowish pea-green. It's not very appealing looking. I think if I had to pick any of my clone figures to get rid of, he'd have to be the one. Excited for the yellow Commander!

Btw.. Sergeant is supposed to be that olive drab color. Hasbro totally messed up the color on their 3.75 figures!!!!
