Looks really good - the face mask is probably the best mass produced way they could do. The kind of plastic sheet (don't know specific name) I might try to remake the mask with already has all the right crumples in from use as a drop cloth

1 way to apply it would be to merely trim the rubber mask, and place the plastic sheet over so the face still has the 'bone structure' of the shape beneath, to avoid hasbrofication

ESB was 1980. Snowy would be pushing 55-60 now. At that age the belt is about right.

The problem is, looks like he is wearing a hat.

The flaired area around the bottom of the helmet that wraps around should be more closely lined up with the brow that also wraps around on the helmet above the goggles.

Looks to me like SS made the helmet a two piece construction which is making the top half bubble out over the bottom flaired half of the helmet.

This could be fixed if you were to take a exacto knife and cut along the bottom ridge of the brow and then heat up the flaired half of the helmet and bend it outward a tad all the way around, then glue it back under the brow line.


Still the figure turned out great i think, wondering if that skirt has a wire in it.

I really like the looks of this figure.. I want to get three and the cannon... my thought is one exclusive for the extra weapon, and two non ex's. Although I think the cannon is a bit steep at $150.00.

Too rounded on top and should taper, will wait til in hand to go on about it, in general it looks really good

Its definitely the eyes that make this look weird. I tried to make it a little better with
the paint app on my CPU but SS should have gotten this right. Totally a different figure
with the eyes corrected.

What i don't understand is that everyone pointed out this problem when we saw the prototype... so clearly if they had taken the small amount of time to correct the smallest thing a lot more people would have been much happier with this figure so WHY DO SIDESHOW IGNORE THE BLATANTLY OBVIOUS?

The devil is in the detail, one small thing can take a figure from good to great. As a customizer/MODer
I'll try to fix the eyes but its not an easy fix. Its not like bending the chest armor on the Stormtrooper
or removing the plastic and bending the belly plate for Fett. This is going to be a challenge, and no I cant leave
it alone its going to drive me crazy every time I look at him.

SS does great with aliens, and clones but when it comes to iconic figure like Fett, Snowtrooper, and Human paint
apps it seems like they drop the ball.

Agreed!

Either they don't frequent the forums or don't care what we have to say.

At least I have an extra Koto Snowtrooper that I can get the helmet from and modify the mask.
