What i don't understand is that everyone pointed out this problem when we saw the prototype... so clearly if they had taken the small amount of time to correct the smallest thing a lot more people would have been much happier with this figure so WHY DO SIDESHOW IGNORE THE BLATANTLY OBVIOUS?

Because they don't care. People still buy it regardless so they don't see a need to fix the obvious.

I think Snowy looks pretty good (although there's something to the comments that it's missing a little of that ESB 'menace'). Regardless, I'm glad I decided on Tamashii's 3PO over my original intention to get 2 troopers and an e.Webb.

Not me...I have passed on the last few in protest but no one has joined me. I cant pre order these anymore due to the proto's being so far from the finished..its like a bait and switch it seems.

The figure certainly looks great... just short-sighted have a detail like the mask not be one that can be altered for troop builders. Because of that I will probably only get one.

I dunno, I think this figure, from the early picks, looks fantastic and I will be happy to add him to my collection. I read the complaints,then go back to the pictures. Then I read more complaints, go back to the pictures. I can maybe see what some are saying, but it doesn't destroy the aesthetic of this figure for me at all. The eyes look a bit narrow in some shots, in others, they look better (seems like angle makes a difference), but they are not so wildly off to me that I think "Wow, that's just awful!" The one complaint that I've read that does stand out for a me a bit is the size of the hands - they do seem overly large. At first I thought, "Well, snowy is running around on a giant glacier, maybe the thickness of the gloved hand appearance is appropriate, he needed warm gloves?", but the screen caps don't reflect that, the actors hands still look smaller than the SSC do, even with gloves. Oh yeah, the other nitpick is the sculpted mask, simply because I was toying with the idea of getting a second one of these an an e-webb cannon to pose with him. Was waiting to see if SSC came up with a creative solution to that - they didn't. Don't want 2 that look identical, though, so that plan is on indefinite hold. I'm not gonna lose sleep over it, been wanting this guy represented in my 1/6 SSC SW collection for a loooooong time, think he's looking good!

Dome looks flatter. That was my only concern, but I guess it was just a matter of angle.

As a rule I don't collect anything but Clones (it has to do with hitting the side of a house). But this one is I guess the word I want is has been in battle. I am glad I got it. But yes, the helmet could have been better.

That last pic looks great.

The bigger gloved hands are not a big deal since they operate in cold weather conditions(i know they are not that big in screen caps), looks like he has some lil'btch feet though.

Just have to wait and see what this looks like in person, still a quality figure despite a few inaccuracies.
