Loving the idea of the smaller primary shoulder pad

Right, I finally got chance to cast up the stunning stuff that Manuel made. The pads needed the extra Side pieces. So I cut of the basic ones and replaced them with the newer ornamental ones.

The chest ice is just as amazing, as you can see...

yeah its actually just the lazy way to go, i went with the hasbro stromtrooper undersiut, and the shoulder pads are sewn into it so rather than remove them i thought, what the hell, leave it as the attachment point for the large pads, and yeah the pics suck, hope to get a camera fro christmas, so in another week or so i can put some good pics up, with some paintwork done as well

That's actually a brilliant idea! The pads are the bit I'm sort of scratching my heed how best to attach them. Using those mini pads will work a treat. Good thinking!

why thank you, im having so much fun doing it:clap This ones a pre heresy Luna wolves, based on the cover of the first horus heresy novel, Horus Rising. I thought dorgs armour was perfect for doing the pre-heresy look, just got to put some gold leaf on the edgings and patina it, one shoulder pad is white with lots of scratches and gothis illumination looking stuff im just gonna make up hah but my little armoured space knight is coming out great

thanks guys!! i used 1/35 scale m3 lee tank treads from an old tamiya kit and thanks , the rusting effect is pretty easy , just dabbed a lighter gray on with a torn piece of packing foam and filled in the middles with dark browns and rust colors. topped it off with some pastels and the effect is pretty pleasing. Ill put some pics up tonyt , did some more gild work on it . And thanks again guys for the positive feedback, dorgsie and bob, your kit is awsome
