Didnt they do a remake like 5 yrs ago? Flopped pretty badly if memory serves.

And i wouldnt count on another licensed figure coming for awhile. Freddy has some variations but it's really the same look and clothing 95% of the time. I would think it wouldnt be worth the effort to mass produce again for that slight variation.

If anything i feel like threezero would release a freddy before sideshow releases another .thats "if" sideshow does another freddy.

Yes - a completely redundant retread. I'm surprised it's currently scoring as much as 5.2 on IMDB.

That was the reason I picked this up was the "just in case" we don't see another one. I feel pretty iffy on this release but figured I'd give it a shot and if I don't care for it I can always sell it. I may feel better once I lower that hat.

Mail call! SSC 1/6 Scale Freddy Krueger! I've already managed to remove the fedora and mod it to sit lower on the head and also took some out of the neck peg to lower it a little as well. Overall very good figure minus the non removable hat and the way it comes stock with the fedora sitting up high on his head. Def will be tweaking him a little more weathering etc.

The torso on mine is a little loose.

Just cracked the box and first impression is I really like him. Body proportions are great. No shrunk torso like other manufacturers. Definitely a futzing figure. I may spray his torso with some texture to help keep is sweater situated.
The knives on his fingers are metal. All three gloved hands.

Briefly unboxed... I think this figure looks really good in hand. Also for anyone worried about the sweater stripe color.... it is absolutely green

From the close ups he looks like he's dying for a coat of semi gloss. He looks pretty dried out.

Breezed through the last 10 pages and quickly peeked at a couple vids. Looks like he could've been better, but all things considered, he definitely could have been worse . Overall an as expected or slightly better than expected fig from SS.

I'm seeing some variation in weathering on the sweater. Some have heavy weathering and others look like it's barley there. Is that just the way it's showing on camera, or is that variation real?

Overall a nice figure. A whole improvement over the decade old dream warrior Freddy. Torso is a bit loose, but otherwise a very nice body. Sweater looks great.

The reviews online were fair but in hand he's pretty cool. He really comes to life when you start posing him.

I dont agree on the muddy brown skin tone. Mine is pinkish red.

Hopefully this will be a new benchmark for ssc. Lobo is the quitest homerun of the yr. Freddy is not as good as Lobo but he is big step up from other ssc offerings.
