Well, er, at least there is hope for Baroness to look good...? Hopefully they changed her body armor to be more fitted and got rid of those brown straps. Destro sadly is a flop But... there is a little hope that there will be more to work with on the full reveal.

I'm sure with some work, and a little risk taking it can be done. If you're going to use something with a rubber neck, you may need to get the exacto knife out.

It can be done.
I swapped the TTM20 arms onto a TTM19 so Hawkeye would have better range of movement, and all you do to remove the arnie muscle chest is slit from armpit to ribcage down ONE side(If you look under the armpits, you'll see that one side was glued on by HT). Cut there, and the muscle body comes off. You'd easily be able to offer the Destro head to the underskeleton(It's scary how much the plastic under shape looks like a terminator chest), and know how much to remove of the neck to get the Destro head to fit.
Then just refit the rubber chest and glue it back together.

As well as Bludd looked I had high hoped for this character. It reminds people of the HoF figures because it looks like a 30 buck Hasbro figure. Maybe the full reveal will have a better head and clothes that don't look like they were taken from a 70s action doll, but at this point, this is beyond disappointing.

Spend it on something else IF... I see anything remotely interesting revealed this week. So far I am underwhelmed but hoping for some great DC PFs to PO...? Waiting on Wonder Woman pf and Baroness 1/6 then that is it. Baroness better look good to make up for Destro.

Before there was Destro there was Cobra Commander, Baroness, and Major Bludd. At least they nailed those three (or came close enough with CC.)

Storm Shadow was also good. And despite the liberties taken the Zartan figure was much better than this (apparently).

I like the headsculpt so far, not enough of the rest of him revealed to make a solid judgement call on my end. I don't mind so much when SOME liberties are taken (which is what I'm hoping for with the DC line). So after this and Baroness who is left for the COBRA hierarchy, just Mindbender and the twins?

I never really considered Mindbender part of the Cobra High Command. The Crimson Twins are a little further down the line too IMO. Cobra Commander, Destro, and Baroness are the big three obviously (which is kinda funny as Destro really isn't technically with Cobra) then I think of Major Bludd in 4th place with Storm Shadow being in that range, but again, not totally with Cobra. And then probably the Twins below that. I always felt Mindbender was just another one of the crowd, at least until he created Serpentor, but that's a different can of worms when you introduce him

I always thought of the leadership as being ( in no particular order ) CC, Destro, Baroness, Storm Shadow, Zartan, Bludd, Mindbender and the twins.
At least that's the impression I got from the 80s cartoon I grew up with.

Some of those seem like hard sells to me. I might bite on the Dreadnoks as complements to Zartan, but only if they're extremely cheap (they won't be). Snow Serpents, and Eels--assuming they are comic-accurate--are probably buys for me. I hope they happen, but seems like SSC needs to give us some green CGs and orange Vipers or something first to get more mileage out of those molds/outfits. The remaining characters I want most from this line are the Crimson Twins.

at this point now,its time they get a bit away from Cobra and start doing Good Joes.....Snowjob,Shipwreck and Gung-ho are 3 that must be made priority (wishful thinking on Mutt and Junkyard)...Scarlet is likely around the corner now that the female body is done.

Cobra will have possibly 5 straight releases

Honestly,I also think Tomax and Xamot should be next years SDCC exclusive set
